Chapter 116: Chapter 116

Jihoon Kang asked Shin Kim, “I wanted to ask you which one was your favorite place here.”

Shin still couldn’t understand how this situation occurred. He stared at his soju glass and contemplated. Only a week ago, or even just a few hours ago, he was so excited about spending his summer vacation with Woojin Choi. It was Shin’s first time going abroad on a vacation with a lover, so he very much had been looking forward to quality time.

But here he was. They were in Germany and… they were drinking soju. Not beer, not wine, just soju. To his surprise, it seemed that Munich had many Korean restaurants.

Jihoon asked again, “Chief Kim? Why aren’t you answering me?”

“Oh, sorry. I… I am still surprised to see you here, Assistant Manager Jihoon Kang. I mean, of all places…”

Shin looked at Jihoon pointedly. Jihoon knew exactly what Shin was thinking. He grinned knowingly and Shin bit his lips and turned toward Siwoo who was looking down at his kimchi stew.

“Siwoo Jung, I don’t remember you telling me you were coming here to Munich for your vacation.”

“You didn’t tell me either. If I knew you were coming here, I wouldn’t have come.”

They whispered to each other, but they were sitting at a small table. Obviously Woojin and Jihoon could hear them clearly.

Woojin and Shin were sitting at a giant fountain eating ice cream that morning after a productive shopping spree. They arrived the night before and they were taking it easy since it was their first day when suddenly, they came across Siwoo Jung and Jihoon Kang. Shin was looking forward to his time with Woojin who had spent his 20’s in Germany. But when he saw Siwoo and Jihoon, he couldn’t help but frown.

As soon as Jihoon saw Woojin, he asked where he could find a Korean restaurant. In the end, they ended up having dinner together at a Korean diner.

Shin said to Siwoo with an annoyed frown, “Are you a little kid or something? Why did you insist on Korean food? We are in Germany! And it was only been two days since you arrived here.”

“You try eating German food for two whole days. It sucks.”

Woojin smiled and agreed with Siwoo, “It’s true. Here in Germany, other than pork and potato, everything else tastes mediocre.”

“Oh! Woojin, you understand me very well! Very smart.”

Jihoon said to Siwoo, “He studied in Germany. I told you before.”

Siwoo turned toward Jihoon and frowned with pouty lips. Shin saw this and frowned in annoyance while Woojin watched the entire interaction curiously. Shin noticed Woojin’s look and explained, “Oh, I was just annoyed that Siwoo was acting all cutesy.”

Shin pushed Woojin’s hair back and smiled at him, making Jihoon and Siwoo frown this time. Woojin didn’t seem to notice their frowns. He just emptied his soju cup. Woojin drank hard liquor with ease, but not wine. Soju didn’t make him sick, so he drank it down in one gulp. Shin watched, thinking how sexy Woojin was. He held Woojin’s hand gently.

“What the hell is this?! What are you guys doing?”

Jihoon frowned and glared at them, while Siwoo added, “Gosh, look at this lovey-dovey couple.”

They were two very different couples in appearance. Siwoo usually acted very cold with his lovers. It was because he was afraid to get hurt and Shin knew this very well. On the other hand, Woojin was honest when it came to love. He accepted affection easily, perhaps because he never felt love before.

Shin until now had been an indifferent lover to his previous girlfriends, but he acted very differently around Woojin. Jihoon, however, acted with easy smiles to everyone but not so much to Siwoo. Jihoon almost acted… rough when around Siwoo. Shin couldn’t understand their relationship at all.

Jihoon turned towards Siwoo and asked with a grin, “Why are you upset, Siwoo? Do you want me to hold your hand too? Like Shin?”

“Don’t even think about it, Jihoon Kang. I hate PDA. It’s gross.”

Jihoon put a piece of fried egg on Siwoo’s plate and asked Woojin, “So Woojin, what was it that attracted you to Shin?”

“His face.”

Siwoo’s eyes widened as he asked, “OMG! Are you serious?”

Siwoo almost screamed his question, and Shin pursed his lips to stop himself from laughing. He also wanted to hide his reaction to Woojin’s answer. He never knew his face was the first reason why Woojin became interested in him. His heart began to thump faster as he continued to listen.

Woojin looked away a little as if embarrassed, and continued, “Jihoon, I thought I told you this before… When we were in high school…”

“… I don’t remember that at all.”

“You asked me, remember? If there was someone I liked?”

“Oh, yeah… before you left for Germany.”

Jihoon slapped the table and smiled. He continued, “I assumed you were talking about a girl. I do remember you saying something about how pretty this person was.”

“I told you that I found someone that looked gorgeous.”

“…”

“I think I even said that I was blinded by this person’s beauty.”

Woojin raised his glass and shook it a little. It was empty and he was asking Shin to fill it, but Shin just stared at him in shock. He had no idea how much Woojin liked his face. Siwoo frowned at his slow friend and poured soju for Woojin himself.

“I’m surprised to find that you are so into looks, Woojin.”

“Well, don’t you think Shin is gorgeous, Siwoo?”

“Shin? Well…”

Siwoo turned to Shin and studied him as he answered, “I wouldn’t say he is ugly, but… his features are too strong…”

“That’s because he is a man. It’s called being manly.”

“…I guess, Woojin.”

“He has a nice straight nose and beautiful eyes. He has really nice smile lines too.”

“…”

“He is also very tall, and his lips are pretty.”

“…”

“And the way he talks… It’s amazing.”

Woojin spoke proudly and pressed Shin’s lips. It seemed that Woojin was a little drunk while Shin felt his body burning. Shin grabbed and pulled Woojin’s hand towards him under the table.

Siwoo sighed and smirked, “Alright, alright. What a beautiful love story you two have…”

Jihoon turned to Siwoo and asked, “Hey, why do you have to be so sarcastic?”

Siwoo frowned and replied, “Because I’m jealous.”

“Why should you be? I tell you all the time how beautiful you are. Your hands are pretty and your eyes too. Your lips, and your nipples…”

Siwoo’s eyes widened and he covered Jihoon’s mouth with his hand.

It was such a fun and informative dinner for the four of them.
