I Came to Admit My Mistake
Clayton hesitated for a moment.
He said carefully, “Isn’t it already expected?” Nicole and Julie widened their eyes.
“You already expected this?”
Even a screenwriter would not write such a dramatic scene, right?
Clayton turned the corner and slowed down. He spoke in a calm tone.
“From the first time Samuel brought Kirsi to a public occasion, Lumi was sure to find out eventually.
Why didn’t you guys anticipate it? Lumi didn’t think about it because she was too easily fooled.
Wouldn’t a normal person have a sense of boundaries if they’re not too familiar with their sister-in-law?”
After Clayton finished speaking, the car fell into silence.
The car was filled with a light jasmine fragrance that was selected by Nicole.
It was a soothing and light scent.
Nicole and Julie glanced at each other.
So, they were the ones who made this bigger than it seemed?
The Makinen Residence.
Someone knocked sharply on the door.
Lumi thought that Nicole and Julie had returned. The maid was not there, so Lumi had no choice but to
go downstairs and open the door herself. As soon as she opened the door, she saw Samuel standing
outside.
Lumi’s expression immediately changed.
“What are you doing here?”
Samuel paused. He calmed his voice.
“I came to admit my mistake.”
Julian and Mia had berated Samuel with countless questioning phone calls.
He could have ignored them, and he did not need to be accountable to anyone.
If the marriage alliance was dissolved, the Lindstrom family was not at a disadvantage. Rather, the
Makinen family had the most to lose. There were only two possibilities if he did not come - the marriage
alliance would be dissolved, or Lumi would compromise.
Samuel could not accept the first possibility. Although this marriage was not what he wanted at the
beginning, after spending so much time together, Samuel found that Lumi was completely different
from other high-society ladies that he knew. Lumi was not the kind of pampered young lady who grew
up in the gentry circle to eventually become a rich housewife.

Lumi also expressed all her thoughts on her face a s if she was afraid that others would not know what
she was thinking about.
For money, Lumi was willing to work hard, but she always fails, and that kind of ineffective effort was
quite laughable.
Lumi was not the same as Kirsi. She was truly someone who deserved to be pampered yet one could
never get angry at.
As for the second possibility, getting Lumi to compromise?
Samuel thought about it all and found it impossible.
Lumi dared to mention divorce in the first place because she would not put up with these nasty things.
This arrogant young lady should always be on top. If Lumi really compromised one day, then Samuel
would be dubbed a true jerk.
Thus, in the end, Samuel still had to come in person to apologize.
Lumi looked at him for a few seconds and took a step back.
Samuel breathed a sigh of relief and was about to walk in, but in the next second, the door slammed
shut in front of his face.
