Finley’s sudden nice behavior surprised Abbey.
Abbey was shy and quickly blushed. She glanced at Finley bashfully.
Alexa understood what he meant. However, Finley made an excuse and left the banquet directly.
Then, she received a message from Finley.
“What do you think of Thalia and me?”

“I might not be pregnant.” Alexa had regained her composure. “Recently… you have used condoms.”

Alexa knew that Terrence cared about her health, so he would not let her take the risk of an
unexpected pregnancy.
When Finley and Abbey arrived, Thalia happened to pass by.

“Hello, Ma’am,” Thalia replied politely. “My name is Thalia Crompton. I’m Dr. McMillan’s…”

Thalia continued, “Patient.”
“I see.” Christina nodded. “Nice to meet you.”
But Abbey felt that something was wrong.
Thalia looked at Finley as if they were very familiar with each other.
“Dr. McMillan, are you friends with Ms. Crompton?” Abbey asked softly.
“Just as she just said.”
Finley’s dark eyes stared straight at Thalia.
“She is my patient.”

“Glad to meet you. Is this young lady also Dr. McMillan’s patient?”
“No!” Abbey immediately denied, “We…”

At this moment, Terrence and Alexa came out of the examination room.
They hurriedly went up to ask for results.
“What did the doctor say?” Christina said impatiently, “Let me see.”

“Mom, I’m sorry for not taking good care of her,” Terrence said sincerely. “I will take Alexa home
tonight.”
“Okay.”
Christina let out a sigh of relief and saw them off at the entrance of the hospital.
Finley did not plan to leave with them. Abbey wanted to accompany him, but Finley sent her away.
“Go home and get some rest.”
“Dr. McMillan, aren’t you going to give me a ride? I dare not go home alone.”
Abbey asked sweetly, which aroused the man’s desire to protect her.
Thalia found that Finley really bought such a trick.
He was cold and abstinent on the outside but wild on the inside.
“Wait for me in the car. I’ll come after changing my clothes.”

“No way.”
Finley turned around and left, completely ignoring her.

“Impossible.”
Alexa chuckled with interest.She put herself back together and left.
Surprisingly, she met Christina at the corner.
“Hello, Ma’am.”
Christina’s face remained kind and showed no signs of anger.
“Ms. Crompton, what happened between you and Finley? Could you tell me?”
Thalia did not feel guilty. She gave a frank answer.
“I am pestering him.”
“Finley seems to have a special attitude towards you,” Christina asked patiently. “What happened
between you two?”
“Ma’am, if there was anything going on between us, he would probably have married me already.”
“He has fallen for someone. It’s the girl you just met.” Christina said straightforwardly to let Thalia
abandon her thoughts.
