Chapter 395 Don't Cry
Terrence and Keyon glared at the speaker at the same time. Instantly,
silence pervaded the corridor.
There came a burst of noise.
Irvin came with his father, Tim Niebergall, and Jovan.
The atmosphere became subtle.
Terrence and Keyon took a step forward at the same time, so Alexa stood behind them.
Jovan shot a glance at the three people with a half-smile.
Then, he said loudly, "Mr. Duran has been hospitalized for a long time. Ms. Duran finally appeared."
"Indeed, I am not a frequent visitor like you, Mr. Clough," Alexa responded. "You are not a member of
the Duran family but care about our family affairs."
"I have been good friends with Mr. Duran for many years. Therefore, I care about him."
"Oh, I see." Keyon nodded. "However, those outsiders may suspect that Mr. Clough is up to something
bad."
"Keyon, Mr. Clough is a distinguished friend of the Niebergall family," Tim
said with displeasure. "You will soon become the son-in-law of the
Niebergall family. Don't forget yourself."
Seeing this, the other members of the Duran family began to murmur together.
There was a commotion. Right then, Christina came out of the operating
room.
"Everyone, thanks for your concern. My husband is fine."
Alexa didn't miss the disappointment in Jovan's eyes.
"Mr. Clough, you look displeased, don't you?"
Alexa asked the question in a loud voice, so the crowd looked at Jovan.
Jovan hid his emotions.
"I am worried about Mr. Duran."
"My mother is a great doctor. Mr. Clough, don't worry," Keyon said with a fake smile.

Christina hadn't opened her mouth.
Jovan impatiently added, "By the way, I have invited a few experts from
abroad. I hope they may help Dr. Fleming."

Scott was sent back to the ICU by the nurses.

Terrence and Alexa left with Christina.

"That won't be a problem." Henry smiled. "I have waited for you for 20 years."
Alexa didn't look back till she was far away from Christina.
Alexa felt relieved at the sight of the embrace between Christina and Henry.
"The head of the Duran family made a lot of blunders in the past," Terrence said indifferently. "What
happened to him recently is a kind of retribution."
"He will probably die of anger if he knows that someone covets his
property."
Alexa didn't love Scott anymore after what had happened.
The other members of the Duran family didn't leave the hospital. Alexa did
not want to go there.
"I have contacted David. He will come with Finley tonight."
"Okay."
The couple planned to go to the place arranged by Keyon. They heard a
quarrel around a corner.
Alexa instantly recognized Giselle's voice.
"Dad, he is a good man. I don't care what you think. I will marry him
anyway!"
"Screw you!"
Tim shouted in anger and slapped Giselle.
Giselle covered her face and said nothing. Tim fumed with anger.

ruin our plan, I will kill you right now!"
"Keyon is my husband, so I will not let you hurt him!"
"Shame on you!"
Tim tried to slap Giselle again, but Terrence appeared and firmly held Tim

Alexa smiled brightly after one glance at Tim and Giselle.
"Mr. Niebergall, why do you look embarrassed? We heard nothing."
Tim blushed with both embarrassment and anger. He was lost for words.
"What do you want to do after getting the Duran Group?" Terrence asked with a smile. "Is Hudson
Group your next target?"
"This is a matter of the Niebergall family. None of your business."
"Really?" Alexa teased. "How stubborn!"
Giselle stood there with her head down and made no sound. Alexa had
never seen Giselle so humble.
"You even slapped your own daughter. How awesome you are!"
Speaking, Alexa extended her hand toward Giselle.
This move took Giselle by surprise. She was stunned for a while before
stretching out her hand.
"She is my brother's fiancée now. I won't sit by if you beat her again."
Alexa tightened her grip and pulled Giselle over.
Tim felt embarrassed.
He said with a livid face, "You're on your own now!"
Giselle shivered with fear and watched Tim leave.
Alexa called Keyon and then waited for him to pick Giselle up.
It was quiet. Then, Alexa heard a burst of sobbing.
"What are you crying for?" Alexa asked.
"I'm sorry. I..."
Giselle lost control of herself and burst into tears.
Terrence shot a cold glance at Giselle and then stayed by Alexa.
"Don't cry. I didn't blame you," Alexa said helplessly.
