Chapter 286 Terrence Feels Disappointed
Terrence said it proudly. Alexa didn't understand what he meant.
Terrence smiled and added.
"It seems that Mr. Powell is pretty amorous."
Alexa just wanted to say that Kieran might be interested in Lilah,
but Terrence just misinterpreted her meaning.
Not long after, Terrence stopped the car in front of a newly opened dessert shop.
"Why did you come here?"
"You've been too busy lately. You need to relax."
After that, Terrence held her hand and entered the hall.
The soothing music resounded in the hall, creating a warm atmosphere. The special decorations added a bit of
warmth to the shop.
Although it was open for business, there were no guests in the hall.
The barbers stood respectfully at the side, and Alexa knew what had happened.
"Can we make the desserts ourselves?"
Alexa was immediately attracted by the rich baking materials, and a sweet smile appeared on her face.
"Terrence, can we do it ourselves?"
"Do it ourselves?"
Terrence was a bit surprised to hear that and looked at Alexa doubtfully.
"What's wrong? Can't I?" Alexa asked with a puzzled look.
"Yes, of course," Terrence said happily. "I couldn't ask for more."
Alexa was in a good mood, and it didn't take long for her to make a crepe cake, but she still needed to do some
decoration.
Terrence sat at the side and stared at her with a warm smile on his handsome face.
"Will it be too sweet?"
Alexa whispered to herself and concentrated on making the cream.
Terrence nodded and said lightly.
"Yes, it's very sweet."
"How do you know? You haven't tasted it yet," Alexa said in surprise.
Terrence leaned forward slightly and ate the spoonful of cake that Alexa scooped up. And he took the opportunity
to kiss the back of her hand.
"I have tasted it. It is indeed very sweet. I like it very much."
Alexa blinked her eyes, quickly concealing her restless guilty conscience.

She immediately looked away, but Terrence raised his hand to hold her jaw.
"What are you hiding for? Little girl, why is your face so red?" Terrence looked at her face.
Alexa blushed even more.
She shyly pushed away Terrence's hand and muttered in a low
voice.
"I'm not a little girl."
"You don't like this title? Then I'll change to another one..."
Terrence seriously thought about it and mysteriously leaned closer.
"Darling?"
Hearing this, Alexa was horrified.
"Shut up!"
Terrence caressed Alexa's waist from time to time and watched her
put the cake into a box.
"Why did you make so much?"
Terrence pretended to be calm and did not say it directly, but he
was already complacent in his heart.
Alexa really cares about me. She actually made so many cakes for
me, Terrence thought.
"I have to let the guys taste them."
"What?"
Terrence pretended to be calm, but his eyes began to look cold.
"Who are you going to give them to?"
"You know, the colleagues of the president's office." Alexa did not
find anything wrong.
"There is still something to do in the company. Let's go."
Terrence held her hand without any explanation and let the
bodyguard pick up the box.
Alexa followed him out of the baking store. When she sat in the car,
she clearly felt that there was something wrong with Terrence.
She didn't know why he was angry.
"What happened?" Alexa asked doubtfully.
"Nothing." Terrence awkwardly squeezed out these words. "It's
not a big deal anyway."

Terrence thought that she would continue to ask, and he could
bargain, but Alexa didn't pursue it.
"Alright."
Terrence was shocked.
Alexa didn't care about him.
Terrence felt so disappointed, and his disappointment might turn
into anger at any time.
Alexa looked at her cell phone and suddenly said in surprise.
"It will snow tomorrow?"
"Yes," Terrence replied. "It will be Christmas soon."
"Time flies."
Alexa looked out the window and seemed to be thinking about
something.
Alexa only came back to her senses when she smelled the cold
wooden fragrance.
She did not know when Terrence was so close to her, so close that
as long as she moved slightly, her delicate lips would touch his face.
"What are you doing?" Alexa tried to dodge him.
"Looking at you." Terrence stared at her curiously. "What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing." Alexa shook her head. "Nothing serious."
"Speaking of this, where are you planning to spend Christmas?"
Terrence lowered his eyes and stroked her palm, intentionally or unintentionally, with his calloused
fingertips.
"How about you come back to the Ramsey's house with me?" he
asked sincerely. "My parents miss you very much."
Alexa paused, hesitating.
But after a while, she said.
"We'll see when the time comes."
Alexa did not directly refuse, but she would not agree.
Terrence's heart instantly sank.
"How about you take Damarion with you?"
Alexa came up with such a proposal after a struggle, but Terrence
directly refused.

"If you don't go with us, it's not a reunion."
"At least your parents can see him," Alexa chuckled.
Terrence felt that Alexa was right, but the disappointment in his
eyes had already exposed his thoughts.
When they returned to the company, Alexa was planning to
distribute the cakes to everyone, but the bodyguard was nowhere to be seen.
"Terrence, where are my cakes?"
"I don't know," Terrence replied calmly. "Maybe they got lost."
Half an hour later, Terrence returned to Hudson Group. The cakes that had "disappeared" were placed on his
table.
Terrence was so happy that he was like a child who had received a
lot of candy, and more importantly, no one shared Alexa's cakes
with him.
Edwin came in to report on his work and was surprised to see that
Terrence was eating cakes.
"Mr. Ramsey, I remember that you don't like desserts."
Terrence raised his eyes slightly and asked casually.
"Is that so? I don't think so."
Edwin knew who gave him the cakes.
As expected, Mrs. Ramsey can always change his mind, Edwin
thought.
"How is the matter going?"
Terrence changed the topic, and Edwin immediately became very
serious.
"Caspian is now under our control. The Moss family has now asked for 3.2 million dollars."
"3.2 million dollars." A cynical smile appeared on Terrence's face.
"The life of the Moss family's eldest son is only worth 3.2 million dollars?"
"Many people want to buy his life now. If not for you, Caspian would have been killed by others."
Hearing this, Terrence closed his eyes and nodded. He was
enduring his anger.
Terrence had never intended to save Caspian, and he was even very
jealous of Caspian.
It was just a stranger, yet Alexa cared so much about him.
