"Just ignore them. Of course, there is no need to be afraid of them." Alexa felt that Rebekah wanted to
say something more to her.
"Cory is very manipulative and will do whatever it takes to get his way," Rebekah said slowly.
"They must have a grudge against you this time you and Terrence investigated the branch company
thoroughly."
"I understand.They have always wanted to drive me out of the Ramsey family."
"It's the only way to power."
Rebekah patted the back of Alexa's hand meaningfully.
"He has arranged for someone to keep an eye on Terrence.Terrence has already dealt with most of
them, yet there are still some fools."
Alexa's eyes flickered, and she had already realized what Rebekah meant.
"Rebekah, are you saying that I should solve this personally?"
"It's a good chance to show them who calls the shots in the Ramsey family."
After Rebekah finished speaking, she left.
Alexa went to Hudson Group right when it was time to get off work.

When Alexa came to Terrence's office, he was not inside.

Laylah obviously did not expect Alexa to be here.
After a brief moment of astonishment, Laylah placed the coffee on Terrence's desk.
"Ms. Duran, what would you like to drink?"

"No need. I'm waiting for Terrence."
"Mr.Ramsey is still in the conference room. I'm afraid he doesn't have time to see you." Alexa chuckled.
"Is it up to you whether my husband has time to see me or not?"

Alexa walked towards Laylah and slowly picked up Laylah's name card.
"Laylah Cecillia, the secretary."

"I'm new here indeed."
"You must be very talented to be the secretary of the CEO's office given that."
Laylah glanced at Alexa silently.
"Didn't you just say that Terrence is in the conference room? Then why did you bring his coffee here?"
Alexa didn't give Laylah a chance to reply.She turned around directly.
Then Alexa said, "Toss it.My husband doesn't drink things like this."
"Ms.Duran, Mr.Ramsey is my boss."
"So, you mean you won't obey my orders.Is that right?"
Alexa smiled and did not take Laylah seriously at all.
"Is that how Nina teaches you?"
"Ms.Duran, sarcasm is unnecessary, and you shouldn't slander Ms.Ramsey."
"Well."
Alexa indifferently tilted her head.
"So?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Terrence came in.
The first thing he did was look at Alexa, and the coldness in his eyes disappeared in an instant.

"Are you going to cry? I've got tissues here.Want some?" Alexa asked casually.

"Did she piss you off?"

"Is that why you are here today?"

Yet those women were very purposeful, and they were sent by Nina.
The two facts made Alexa very uncomfortable.
"There have been some strange women lately," Terrence said seriously.
"But I've had Edwin deal with them already.I didn't even talk to them."
"It's not that I feel the need to control you," Alexa explained.
"I can tell."
Terrence nodded and played along.
When they were waiting for the red light, Terrence glanced at Alexa.
"Why are you snickering? What makes you so happy?"
"Ah? I am not snickering." Alexa put her phone away.
"Were you chatting with someone?"

"We've had some new interns in the company, and they are nothing but honey-tongued," Alexa said.
The interns were all freshly graduated, so Alexa did not feel anything wrong.
"What did they say?"
"Just some nifty. Hudson Group has interns as well, right? What do you talk to them about usually?’
she said casually.
"I don't talk to them at all."
Terrence paused and then continued.
"Ms.Duran, you are in charge of Hudson Group as well.When are you planning on coming back to
manage it?"
"You are there, aren't you? Besides, if I come back, Nina will be so pissed off," Alexa smiled.
"She's not in a position to say anything."
"The board of directors of the Duran Group won't let me go," she helplessly said.
"And Keyon has been dealing with the Niebergall family these days."
Tim hadn't been doing well recently, and Irvin was nowhere to be found.
Keyon had to temporarily handle the affairs of the Niebergall Group, and he also had to visit Tim often
in the hospital.But even so, the Niebergall family still did not trust Keyon very much.
Terrence listened to Alexa seriously without offering his opinion hastily.
