Chapter 1301: Farewell Gift

She took a bite of the food that Elvis was feeding her, chewing a few times before swallowing. She continued. “I know what the Motou mountains mean to the bird tribes. How could I destroy the mountain for my own personal benefit? I was just talking nonsense. Don’t take it to heart.”
Gregory’s eyes dimmed.
Actually, he had hoped Gu Mengmeng was being serious. If so, he would have a reason to yield to her demands. For the sake of all the bird tribes, he could lower his head and say “I will bring you up, please don’t destroy the Motou mountains”.
With such a noble reason, he could conceal his petty and selfish intentions and still remain by her side for a few more days?
Smiling bitterly inside, Gregory realized it had only been a month and he had already become so despicable.
“Then… I will be leaving.” Even as he bid them farewell, Gregory remained unmoving on the spot.
