More rustling sounds at Isabelle’s side came over the phone again before Isabelle hung up the call
without a word.
Squeezing the phone, Sophia contemplated for a long time, and then sent a message to John telling

Sophia nodded, but she couldn't sleep for a while. Lying on the bed, she stared up at the ceiling.
After a while, John had fallen asleep peacefully. Sophia waited for a moment before getting up and
tiptoed to the bathroom as quietly as she could.
