Chapter 261: Yin Yang Dharma Body

According to the museum, after renewing Xiao Huo’s blood and cleaning his bone marrow, yin yang cultivation would become possible where separation would occur. Top, to condense the unmanifested Dharma body; Middle, to condense Yin Yang Dharma body; Bottom, to condense ice and fire spirit body.

These three were choices of varying difficulties. Lin Jin had gone through them before and knew that condensing the unmanifested Dharma body was the best, but also the hardest. It was impossible to achieve so he simply gave up on that choice. As for the worst, he would never choose it if possible. Hence, only the middle selection was left available.

The Yin Yang Dharma body.

This was a mediocre path. As long as one’s yin yang was regulated, condensing the Dharma body was possible. Despite calling it mediocre, this also depended on the era of the subject.

During ancient times of immortals, this was indeed average but good enough to classify as medium quality. But in current modern times, this was more than amazing.

In the world, today, how many humans or monsters could afford to condense the Dharma body?

And so, Black Crow and the others gained tremendous knowledge today.

Meanwhile, for Lin Jin, condensing this mediocre Yin Yang Dharma body wasn’t easy either. Fortunately for the Rank 5 jade dragon blood and Xiao Huo’s two perfect evolution, Lin Jin had a solid foundation to work on. Moreover, the blood renewal and bone marrow cleansing also made this condensing of the Dharma body possible.

“Dharma body combine, yin yang in motion!” Lin Jin invoked a spell. Using his own spirit energy as guidance, the extreme cold and pure flames combined. At first, they clashed before slowly meshing together to form a Yin Yang Taichi image. Then, a cocoon of ice and fire emerged from the Taichi image.

The cocoon was wrapped in ice threads but emitted burning flames. It was definitely a rare sight. This cocoon was about the size of a human fist.

Even if the cocoon grew larger after that, it was only two feet tall at most.

At this point, Lin Jin couldn’t hold on anymore.

He was still wearing the devil mask, or else everyone could see his ghastly pale face without even a trace of blood flowing beneath. His intention was to cultivate this ice and fire cocoon up to at least an adult human height or taller. With that, only could the Dharma body be deemed perfect and marvelous. It could even promote Xiao Huo directly to Rank 5.

But the problem was, Lin Jin was only a normal human being, not an immortal cultivator of ancient times. His ability fell short of his wish. Still, this drained all of his efforts, otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to make the cocoon at all.

Feeling his consciousness falter, Lin Jin immediately stopped and willed himself not to fall down. Next, he quickly used the pulse-seeking technique to regulate his exhaustion but with minimal effects.

Then, the ice and fire cocoon began to crack.

A mini-sized Xiao Huo crawled out.

Xiao Huo’s body emitted a faint glow. He no longer had a physical form and was currently in his Dharma body state. This state allowed him to control ice and fire at will, making him so much stronger than before.

Although the advancement to Rank 5 didn’t happen, he was now strong enough to stand up against a Rank 5 beast.

Moreover, the bone marrow cleansing was equivalent to rebuilding Xiao Huo’s entire body. Xiao Huo was no longer a fire wolf and no rare beast could even come close to comparison.

In time, he could achieve immeasurable success.

Meanwhile, Lin Jin was forcing himself to stay conscious. He never thought that condensing a Dharma body would exhaust so much of his energy. He didn’t speak anymore as he didn’t have the strength to. He reached out to retrieve the nebula flag, linked up the museum, and took one step back, disappearing without a trace.

For now, he could only take a break in the museum. Otherwise, fainting outside there would be too unsightly. Also, if he fainted while being in his curator identity, would that shatter the almighty image he had built?

So, even if he were to faint, he would do it in the Visitation Hall.

This Visitation Hall was always open for Lin Jin. This was his perk as the curator and clearly something the visitor didn’t have.

As Black Crow and the others watched as the curator suddenly disappear and the barrier around them coming undone, they knew the curator had left without saying goodbye.

But none of them felt resentment.

Previously, in the Visitation Hall, the curator had always been friendly, and today, after witnessing the curator’s prowess outside, they found him to be incredibly terrifying.

When up against the old dragon, the curator practically overpowered the creature just by aura alone. After that, he used phenomenal powers to condense a Dharma body for his disciple’s pet beast.

This was too amazing.

“I’ve learned a lot today.” Evil Scholar looked thrilled and his fingers were trembling in excitement.

“You’re right. This trip to Jade Dragon Kingdom wasn’t a waste after all,” Black Crow sounded just as pleased.

He looked at the fire wolf. This fire wolf was currently tiny as a kitten with an average aura, but he knew the creature shouldn’t be judged by his appearance.

This fire wolf had achieved Dharma body so even if Black Crow and his black falcon attacked him simultaneously, they probably couldn’t last very long.

“Everyone!” Ghost Child suddenly called out. The others finally came to and noticed how the temple was being surrounded by soldiers in full armor and long spears. Some were even carrying crossbows, wearing menacing expressions.

Stationed in the front row were over a hundred armored rhinoceros. These ferocious beasts have incredibly thick armors and were huge in size. They were usually deemed moving city walls and if they charged forward together, no one could withstand their might.

These people were obviously Jade Dragon Kingdom’s fighting force and they had surrounded the area completely.

However, Black Crow, Ghost Child, and the others weren’t your ordinary folk so they didn’t really care. Though the soldiers were great in quantity, they weren’t worth mentioning to the villainous experts. The same goes for the rhinoceros pet beasts.

A general came forward in his horse but bore no weapons, shouting, “His Majesty of Jade Dragon Kingdom would like to invite Mr. Curator into the palace as his guest.”

They were here for the curator.

But the curator had already left.

Glancing around, Black Crow laughed eerily. “These people are just fooling themselves. Who are they trying to scare by deploying so many people over? Even if they were here for me, if the emperor himself didn’t show up, I wouldn’t give him this honor. And they’re being so petty when trying to invite Curator. Who would go with them?”

Standing beside him, Evil Scholar chuckled as well, fanning his folded fan. Ghost Child was patting her swaddle, looking at the leading general. Only, the latter dared not meet her gaze.

He couldn’t help it. Madam Ghost Child’s gaze was too sinister. No matter how strong a person was, they wouldn’t want to meet her gaze for too long.

Then, Coffin Man suddenly spoke, “Curator’s disciple is a citizen of Jade Dragon Kingdom so we better not create conflict with these people.”

In such a crucial time, Coffin Man was actually the most level-headed among them.

“I almost forgot!” Evil Scholar abruptly came to and retracted his hostile aura. Now, he no longer looked like the lunatic from before.

Madam Ghost Child stepped forward and said, “Mr. General, go back and report to your emperor that Curator has left due to urgent business. I don’t think he’ll be able to be your guest.”
