Chapter 2214 - Immense III
"We have been harvesting the resources for two days, lets take a break," Jim said when we finished harvesting our sixteenth field.
"Has tiredness have finally caught up to you?" Rhea asked with a smile, for which he glared at her before taking out an abode and going inside when he saw both of us did not have any problem with his suggestion.
From what I could gather, Jim had been awake for little more than two weeks. While a Master like him could remain awake for that time without any problem but he will feel the tiredness, and that tiredness would rapidly accelerate with each passing day till one won't be able to function at all.
This is why it is very important to sleep regularly, if not possible every day, then every few days. I like to sleep regularly; it keeps me at my best.
Jim directly went to his room, asking us to take whatever room we wanted. I took the second room while Rhea took the third.
The room was simple; other than the bed and table, there was nothing in it. Though I could materialize the thing on it with the help of the control panel, which is shining gently to my left. I instead went to shower.
It had been a week since I had taken a shower, and even though my body was spotlessly clean, I needed a shower.
Twenty minutes later, I walked out of the shower and touched a few buttons on the control panel, as I did. The bed disappeared, and the next second, another bed appeared, which was big and had an incredible level of artful carving.
As the bed came out, I felt an incredible amount of tiredness that I was barely able to keep myself standing.
This is the bed I had found in the manor; it bright out all the tiredness that is hidden in my body and soul; I would see how it is in relieving it.
The next second, I fell down on the bed, and a couple of seconds later, I was fast asleep.
When I woke up, I felt incredible. I felt like every part of me was well-rested, and I was ready for everything, and the most amazing thing is, I had only slept for six hours. Seeing I had been awake for a week, I had thought I would sleep for double of that amount.
'It seemed like I had underestimated the bed,' I said. I am happy to get something like that; it would save me time but also give me good well-rested sleep.
I got out of the bed, freshened up before going back on the bed, and laid back on it before closing my eyes. The next second, I am in the core, which has dense energy and incredible greenery.
While the resources I found in the garden are rare and precious, they could not compare to the resources I had planted in my core. Each plant is specifically selected, and each of it fell into the unofficial category of emperor plants; these resources could give me boosts others could not.
The garden had grown a little with the Grimm Master that I had harvested, and it would soon reach its limit.
To continue, either I will have to harvest the resources, which I have not done so far, or level up. Both options are preferable, but I would like to level up than harvest the resources, through they would reproduce quickly as long as I could get my hands on the Masters with bloodline.
I only spent a minute looking at the resources before I walked to my study station and began working on my Inheritance.
I am nearly finished; when I do, I will be able to level up to the Mid-level of Elite stage, which would make a Leader class Tyrant and give me the power of the Grandmaster.
I had worked for little more than seventeen hours, making huge progress before I got out of my core. As I did, I felt slightly tired, but I did not sleep; instead, I took back my bed, showered before walking out of my room.
When I went to the hall, I found no one was present there. So, I walked into the kitchen and began preparing dinner.
I had been eating packaged food throughout the week and wanted to cook something fresh, something new.
All the dishes I am cooking are invented by me, and all of them were rejected by the being in the tome. I am still continuing and will do it till I pass the test.
I was in the midst of cooking when Rhea appeared in the hall before she sat in front of me, watching me cook with great surprise and hunger. It took me one and half hours to cook all the dishes, and by that time, Jim had also arrived.
"You are amazing, Micheal. There are very few people who could cook better than you, and you only get to eat food made of their hands once a year, if you are lucky," Jim said as he took his first bite.
He is referring to the Grandmasters, some of them took various interests in their long lives, and few of them chose culinary art.
There are some culinary art Grandmasters I had met but never had a chance to discuss art with them. Such things are considered a top of leisure time and not of wartime.
Soon we finished the dinner and walked out of the abode; we had wasted enough time already and would not have to like to waste more.
"There is no need," I said to Rhea when she moved her hand to make a diamond cover like before around my body. "You have recovered?" she asked in surprise, and to that, I nodded.
"Good, with you recovering, we would be able to deal with any danger even more efficiently," Jim said happily before walking with me toward the formation. I had already broken it when we were harvesting the resources and even created the formation in my core.
Now, I only have to bring it out.
