Chapter 2345 Aggressors
The evening I healed the husband of Lord Whitmore, a great change have occurred in the war, and this time, the aggressors were us, humans.
We have sent the fifty Grandmasters into the battlefield, shocking the hell out of the Grimm Monsters, as these Grandmasters were the ones they have thought they had killed, and we have brough them back from the dead.
For the first time since the war had begun, we have killed ten Grimm Grandmasters in a single day.
It is more than a ten, but the exact numbers have been kept secret by the higher-ups that even I, with all my access, did not know.
With us bringing out such huge numbers of Grandmasters, the war had reached a completely different stage. We now have very few cards that are hidden, which makes what happened next is even more dangerous.
'We have to tread carefully think about every decision ten times before making every decision, but of course, we should not hesitate to be bold when we need to be.' These were the words of Grand Commander when she broadcasted her message to use Grandmaster that evening.
I wanted to join the battle because I knew I would be able to get my hands on the powerful Grimm Monsters, especially those with the bloodline.
Unfortunately, I couldn't; my request was denied within a second, and I got new orders which were the old orders.
I was to heal all the Grandmaster from the hall of sleep and produce as much war ammunition as possible and opened the vaults for me to take whatever I need to do those things.
Eight days have passed since then, and I have constantly been working on one thing or other, so is my avatar inside my core. I would have had some free time for myself if I had not committed myself to the new ambitious project.
I shook my head of those thoughts and focused on the work in my hand. I have already lost two months, if not for that. We would have another Grandmaster or a person with the power of Grandmaster.
Camphor had already had a power that was extremly close to the Grandmaster, and she even killed two videttes at the same time while I was in the coma.
I am currently working on unblocking camphor's elemental veins; I have already finished unblocking more than 50% of natural blockage and would be able to unblock it all within a month.
If I had not suffered the injuries that had wasted two months, I would have already been finished dealing with these blockages. This is the second session in the eight days, and today, I am clearing pretty important blockages; once cleared, it will immediately boost her strength.
Forty minutes had passed by when I had finally stopped and drew back all my energy from her body.
"Six more sessions like this and the complete power of elemental veins will be at your disposal," I said as she got up.
"Thank you again, Grandmaster," She said as she got up from the coffin. "You should let your veins rest today and focus on unblocked one from tomorrow," I advised and handed her a few potions for newly unblocked veins.
She left a few minutes later while I walked back into my house, where I played with my sister and ate dinner. I also informed my father about my departure tomorrow; he was not happy hearing that, but he accepted.
I had not thought the higher-ups would send me to fight this quick, at least not before they got a few hundred more crystal roses from me, but the war is getting more and more intense, and even with adding such huge numbers, the Grimms are pressing on us.
After some time, I came back to my room, and the first thing I did was check my preparation before entering my core.
In the past eight days, nothing much had changed except for me harvesting even more resources from the plants. Which are glaringly telling me that I have to harvest the Grimms if I want to see them evergreen again.
While my core remained the same, I have made huge progress in my Inheritance. I have thought my new project would take some of the precious time I am using to create my Inheritance, but to my surprise, it is ending up helping me.
I have made far more progress in my Inheritance than I had thought, but there is still a lot more I have to make.
Tomorrow, I am entering the front again, where the fighting is going to be even more intense. If I am lucky, then I am going to get a lot of prey, but there are also huge dangers on me.
The Grimms might now have a complete idea about my powers, but they know enough, and I am sure, once they spot me, they will try to deal with me.
Even though I don't like to trump my own horn, I am a considerable danger, and seeing what had happened three and a half thousand years ago, they will not make the mistake of letting me grow unhindered.
I have already heard the attempts they have made on Jill; there was even a whisper of lower coven tracking her. I don't know whether its true to not, but I will consider it true and would be extremely careful.
I worked on my Inheritance for a couple of hours before I opened the tome, where I am making good progress.
I have already mastered the roasting technique, and now I am working on another and have already made great progress in it. I am quite confident that I will be able to master it within this week.
I practiced for quite a while before I closed the tome and studied the seven books of my constitution elements, and finally slept when it was a little past midnight.
For the first time in quite a while, I had a nightmare, and it was about my mother. It was so bad that I had not slept for the rest of the night.
