Alan Hoyle went back to the car and made a phone call, "please check the recent whereabouts of
Ellison Geve, especially yesterday."
Master Geve had disappeared since the press conference. But Alan did not think that man would not
make trouble in the future.
Ophelia Meyer cried bitterly, "I will call you ‘auntie’ later, so as not to displease Alan."
Mrs. Hoyle thought that Ophelia would be a couple with her son. She didn't think that a change in Hoyle
Group made Alan meet Olive Steele, and they fell in love.
Mrs. Hoyle always matched her son and Ophelia, but she couldn't resist his son's persistence. Finally,
his son married Olive.
"Don't think about whether he's happy or not. Call what you want. If you can't be a daughter-in-law, you
can still call me ‘ma’ as my adopted daughter, OK?"
"But I don't want to be your adopted daughter."
"I know. It's temporary."
"Well." Ophelia was very reluctant to be an adopted daughter.
It was just that a bad idea rose in her mind.
Mrs. Hoyle gently stroked her back. In the past, Ophelia felt the palm was warm and firm, but now she
felt uneasy for no reason.
"Ma, I'm going to the bathroom."
"Go and make yourself beautiful. I will be here waiting for you." Mrs. Hoyle said gently.
Ophelia rushed into the bathroom, splashed cold water on her face, and looked up with a sneer.
Cry? Tears were just a weapon to soften Alan’s mother, she was not so vulnerable.
Weakness and tears were women's weapons. She could only damage the relationship between Alan
and Olive by controlling his mother.
However, she underestimated Alan's love for Olive. Alan even confronted his mother openly. He
announced his only love in this life with a high profile and even left the Hoyle's Family.
But Ophelia was nothing for Alan.
Mrs. Hoyle also could not control her son.
Adopted daughter.
It was just a way Mrs. Hoyle used to keep Ophelia so that her father could help Hoyle Group. If one day
Ophelia had no use-value, Mrs. Hoyle would kick her away.
"Lucky for you, you didn't get killed," Ophelia said angrily.
"What are you whispering about? I think you are crying again."
Mrs. Hoyle's face suddenly appeared in the mirror.
"I'm fine. Let's go."
"Are you sure?" Mrs. Hoyle looked at Ophelia doubtfully. Mrs. Hoyle had heard what Ophelia had just
said. "Ophelia, tell me the truth. Is yesterday related to you?"
After all, Ophelia had done those things before, which made Mrs. Hoyle feel that Ophelia was not as
simple as she was on the surface.
"Mom, don't you believe me? I was with you all day yesterday."
"I just don't want you to do anything wrong again. Even if you beat Olive in this way, you won't win back
Alan's love. He might even hate you more."
"I know." Ophelia lowered her head.
"Let' me do it alone, don't involve you." Mrs. Hoyle told her.
Ophelia hugged Mrs. Hoyle with emotion, "ma, you are so kind to me."
Acting, Ophelia was the best at it.
In the hospital ward, Annie was lying on the edge of the bed, "mommy, Journey to the West must be
deceptive."
"Why do you say so?" Olive looked at her daughter.
"The book says that good people are rewarded. Mommy, you're such a good person that you haven't
received any good feedback."
As a little child, her words were very moving.
Olive thought that her daughter must be great in the future.
Olive's mom felt that maybe it was god's blessing that they could escape this disaster. Fortunately,
Olive was quick to save the lives of three people.
Olive's mom and Chloe Malan were fine except for a few skin scrapes. It was Olive who was the most
injured. Olive was rescued in the operating room for a long time.
Those hours were the most difficult time for Olive's mom as if it was back to the time when Olive gave
birth to Annie. The doctor asked them, whether they would like to keep an adult or a child.
Fortunately, mom and baby were all safe.
Fortunately, this time they were also saved.
Olive had thought that if the danger came, she would face the dangers alone.
What a kind child!
When Aoba Hoyle looked at Annie, he wanted to have his baby. So he tugged Chole’s sleeves.
Chole had already said that they had to deal with her mom before get married and have children. But
her mom would not agree immediately.
He could wait, but could her age wait? It was too dangerous to produce at an advanced age.
Chole glanced at him, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
Olive told them, "Aoba, please take my mom and Chole back to have a rest. Dad and Annie could stay
with me."
Olive was giving Aoba a chance to show himself.
Olive's dad said, “Well, you go back first."
Then Aoba drove Chole and her mom back home.
In the afternoon, Olive fell asleep.
Annie played chess quietly with her grandpa.
Olive did not know how long she had been sleeping. When she opened her eyes, she saw Alan.
"Why don't you wake me up?"
"You sleep so well."
"Where are Dad and Annie?" Olive looked around and asked.
"I asked the driver to take them home. Chole cooked something for you, would you like some?"
"Am I a pig? Just eat and sleep."
He pinched her nose and twisted it off, "you are my piggy."
Olive smiled, "have you had your meal?"
"Not yet, I want to eat with you."
"I'm not starving. Shall we go out for a walk?"
Many patients and nurses were walking up and down the lawn in the twilight sun. Patients of different
ages had different expressions.
Face up to life with smiles no matter what happened.
Her knees seemed to be hard hit by the force of the car crash. Every step she felt hurt.
He said, "if you're tired, we can have a rest."
"Well, it's just that this hand had no strength at all. It's not going to be wasted, is it?"
"The doctor said that the ligament on the arm was injured, and it would recover to have a good rest for
a while." He smiled at his little wife.
"Does Bodhisattva think that I don't have enough sesame oil coin?"
Olive's eyes and eyebrows were vivid. Alan couldn't help laughing and said, "when did you become so
superstitious?"
"Cheer you up!" Olive poked him in the face with her right hand. "Smile is more handsome. When can I
be discharged from the hospital?"
She didn't like the feeling of being in the hospital.
"When the congestion in your little head is gone, I'll take you home, and you'll stay here for nearly a
week."
"A week? But I have work to deal with."
