Chapter 500Chapter 500

Sean‘s low and husky voice had a soothing effect.

But, just as Sean spoke, the group of ruffians who were chasing after Molly finally came over.

“You b*tch, let‘s see where else you can run...” Before the ruffian could finish his sentence, he noticed

the car that suddenly appeared and the group of unknown people in front of him.

After Sean got out of the car, all the bodyguards in the car behind also did the same. Dozens of men

followed Sean to find Molly.

They were all dressed in black suits. All of them stood there and gave out a sense of intimidation.

When Molly heard the ruffians‘ voices, her body suddenly froze as if she was frightened. She hugged

Sean even harder.

Sean quickly patted Molly to comfort her. His eyes were icy cold with great hostility. He glanced at the

ruffians who appeared.

Tony saw this scene and knew that the ruffians who appeared before him were finished.

“Get them.” Sean gave an order, and the bodyguards–in black beside him dealt with those ruffians.

“In-In the warehouse, there are others!” Molly said quickly with a trembling voice.

Molly did not forget the other ruffians she put down in the warehouse.”

Sean cast a gaze at the bodyguard beside him and signaled the bodyguard. The bodyguard made a

decisive decision and led some men to catch the ruffians Molly mentioned.

Molly was taken to the car by Sean. “Are you okay? Did they attack you? Are you hurt anywhere?” Sean asked in concern as he placed his

coat over Molly.

Sean noticed that Molly‘s mental state was not very stable, and he had no idea what injuries she had.

But, Sean had seen the video Michael used to threaten him. He saw that those men were trying to do

something to Molly.

Sean felt distressed in his heart, as he held Molly in his

arms.

Fortunately, Sean arrived just in time. “Tony, let‘s go to the hospital,” Sean ordered.

Sean‘s first thought was to take Molly to the hospital to check on her injuries.

Molly grabbed Sean‘s sleeve and said, “I don‘t need to go to the hospital. I just want to go home.”

Molly did not want to go home while she reeked of disinfectant. It would make Grandpa Dave, her

brothers, and the three children at home worried about her.

“Okay, we won‘t go to the hospital, then.” Sean looked at the vulnerable Molly and did not object to her

decision. He instructed Tony, “Let’s return to Terahis Grove.”

There was still a long way to go back to the city from the outskirts. While on the way back, Molly just

leaned on Sean‘s body. After she had been through all the frightening moments, she finally relaxed. She

closed her eyes and fell asleep in Sean‘s arms.

Molly was having a dream and was suddenly shaken, and she woke up from her dream when the car

stopped at Terahis Grove. “Did you have a bad dream?” Sean asked.

Molly heard a familiar voice. She raised her head and met Sean‘s eyes. Her restless heart settled down

again.

“It‘s nothing.” Molly realized she was still in Sean‘s arms and hurriedly exited the car herself.

“Can I come to your house before I go home?” Molly stood at the gate of Terahis Grove, and she

suddenly thought of something. She turned to ask Sean.

Molly looked at her clothes and said to Sean, “I want to clean up a bit before I head home so that I won‘t

scare Grandpa and the others.”

“Sure,” said Sean, and he took her back to his house.

After Molly entered Sean‘s house, she went to Sean‘s bathroom to clean herself up. Sean prepared a set

of clean clothes he had never worn and put them outside the bathroom.

Sean said, “I‘ll put the clothes at the door. You can put them on in the meantime. I‘ll have someone

prepare a set of clothes for you.”
