Sean could not bear to watch the kids being sad, so he comforted them patiently. "Don't worry. Mommy will be back very soon."
"Really?" The triplets widened their round eyes that were filled with anticipation.
Sean nodded lightly.
The triplets were relieved as their face lit up once again.
At that moment, Grandpa Dave came downstairs and walked slowly to Sean before smiling gently at him. "You're here, Sean.
"You came at the right time. I have a few things to talk about with you. Come with me, please.” Grandpa Dave then turned to the backyard.
Sean did not understand what was going on, but he quickly followed Grandpa Dave in his wheelchair.
There were many trees in the backyard with leaves that had turned yellow as they were transitioning to
the fall season. As the wind blew, the leaves would dance in the sky and paint a beautiful picture of the
backyard.
Sean did not know what Grandpa Dave wanted to talk about, so he politely asked, "Grandpa, if you
have something to say to me, please don't hesitate."
"Sean..." Grandpa Dave did not beat around the bush and directly said," Your mother came here
today."
Sean did not look shocked at all, as he was the one who got his mother to visit them.
He paused for a few seconds and politely asked, "Grandpa, did my mother say anything that crossed
the line?""Oh, of course not."
Grandpa Dave shook his head and was slightly hunching next to the tree. He then continued slowly,
"Your mother brought many expensive gifts for us and said that she wants to be closer to the triplets.
She hopes that we can understand. I didn't say anything at that time, but I find it slightly strange.
"Your mother has never liked Molly, she even went to Molly’s mother to threaten her to get Molly away
from you!
"But Io and behold, she is now saying that she likes the triplets all of a sudden. She even said that she
approved of your relationship with Molly. I really don’t understand what she's thinking. That's why I want

Grandpa Dave let out a soft sigh as he really could not understand Mrs. Anderson's doings. 'Why did
she change so quickly?'
When Sean listened to Grandpa Dave, he finally understood what he wanted to talk about.
In other words, Grandpa Dave did not know that Alex, Ben, and Claudia were all Sean's children. So, it was only understandable that
Grandpa Dave was doubtful of Sean's mother's abrupt change.
At this point, Sean did not have to hide anymore, so he told Grandpa Dave about the entire situation truthfully. "Grandpa, the truth is, the kids
and I have a secret. We didn't tell you, so I hope you can be mentally prepared. Don't get too shocked."
"Oh?" Grandpa Dave looked at Sean curiously.
Sean's eyes met with Grandpa Dave's curious gaze as he confessed," Actually, I'm Alex, Ben, and Claudia's father."
Grandpa Dave was stupefied when he heard Sean.He thought Sean was joking, so he shook his head and denied it. ’ Impossible, Sean. I know you like the kids and are willing to be their
father, but you can't joke about this."
"I’m not joking, grandpa. I'm serious. I took a DNA test with the kids, and it verified that they are indeed my kids."
Sean said seriously with a stern look. He really did not look like he was joking.
