Chapter 1421

Molly joked, "As a doctor's dearest person, learning more means you can help your fiance in the

future."

Lesley looked at her helplessly and said reluctantly, "Since you've said so, then... okay. When I'm free,

I'll read."

"Okay, I'll pick some books for you tonight," Molly said.

Thinking it was fun, Lesley pushed the cake to her and said," To express my gratitude for your

kindness, please eat the cake now."

Molly chuckled, "Okay."

Then she picked up the small fork to eat. While eating, she chatted with her about other things.

And they chatted for a whole afternoon. Upon leaving, Molly was a little unwilling to part with her.

Being brought to this island was something unexpected, but knowing Lesley was kind of a happy thing.

But no matter what, she had to go back.

At dinner, she didn't speak a word to Eaton. Just after eating a few mouthfuls, she went upstairs to

sleep.

Later tonight, Rhett came to Eaton's study and reported what had happened during the day to him in

detail. Then he took a step forward and put a voice recorder on the desk.

"What is inside is the dialogue between Miss May and Lesley. Every word they said is in it."

Eaton picked up the voice recorder, glanced at it, smiled, and looked at him appreciatively, "You did a

good job this time."

With Rhett watching, he didn't believe Molly could make any waves.

Molly didn't know Rhett had recorded all their dialogue. Now she was picking medical books she would

take to the cafe tomorrow.

In the end, she chose a few that were not so hard to read.

The next morning, as soon as she finished breakfast, she was about to go out with the books.

"Wait a minute."

Eaton's voice came from behind her.

Molly knitted her thin brows.

Eaton came to her, looked down at the books in her arms, and arched his brows. "I haven't seen these

medical books before. Let me have a look, okay?"

Have a look?'

Molly raised her eyes, glared at him coldly, and said sarcastically, "Hey, Eaton, you also want to check

these things, eh?"

Eaton pursed his lips, silent.Molly took a deep breath, suppressing the anger that was surging, and threw the books to him with

great force.

"You want to see them, so how could I not let you see them? " she sneered.

Eaton immediately began flipping through the pages. He read very carefully as if he was looking for

something.

Molly looked at him expressionlessly.

After flipping through all these books, he didn't find anything unusual or any words she had put down.

They were all brand-new medical books.

Realizing that he had thought too much, Eaton said with faked embarrassment, "Molly, I just wanted to

care about you."

Before he could finish that, Molly snatched the books away, snorted, and went straight out, even

without glancing back at him.

When she reached the cafe and saw Lesley, Molly handed these books to her.

"Thank you."

Lesley took them, opened the one on top, and read it for a while. Now her beautiful thin brows had

almost been knitted into knots.

"Molly, this... is a little difficult."

She looked up with a wry smile.

She just knew a few basics, so this book was really a little difficult for her."That's not a problem. I'll explain to you."

Molly pulled her chair to sit beside her and began to explain the things in the book.

Suddenly starting a class, Lesley thought this was funny, and she listened to Molly cooperatively.

When Molly was about to go back, Lesley asked her to stop.

"Molly, this is for you."

Lesley put a book into Molly's arms and smiled, "This is what I took from my fiance's study."

At first glance, Molly knew this was a book with traces of time.

"This... should be something precious, right?"

She looked up at Lesley.

The latter said sourly, "Precious? He usually puts it under the foot of the table, but I hope you like it."

Molly didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Of course, I like it. Thank you, Lesley."

As she spoke, she leafed through a few pages.

While reading, she suddenly narrowed her eyes a bit, faintly feeling something was wrong.

Why... were some things in the book so similar to the medical skills Mr. Ballard taught her?

Was it that...

She quickly read a few more pages and found what she thought was correct, her heart pounding.

Could it be such a coincidence?
