Chapter 796Chapter 796
Alice nodded as she praised, “Joelle, you sure know how to appreciate the finer things. This tea indeed has a hint
of sweetness. But, it's not easy to make a tea that has this kind of sweet taste.
"Not to mention it's difficult to get the snow water from the mountain. We bought the tea leaves from Wofford. They
are of top quality and very expensive. To perfectly fuse the taste of the snow water and the tea leaves, the duration
and degree of heating must be just right, and the person who makes the tea must be very patient.
"It's like life. It's not easy to be able to meet each other among billions of people, and it's even harder to be able to
live a sweet and happy life together. To do that, the couple must be willing to spend time with each other. And, the
two of them need to get along too. Wouldn't you agree?"
It seemed like Alice was implying something in her later sentences.
Joelle was not a fool. Mrs. Anderson had never shared this kind of deep thought about life with her in the past.
'Is Mrs. Anderson trying to tell me that it was fate that brought Molly and Sean to meet each other, and they must
be at the right place and at the right time to be together?
'Meaning she wants me to move on?'
She glanced at Mrs. Anderson suspiciously as she thought about that, and she saw Mrs. Anderson
smiling. It seemed that this proved what she thought was right.
"Mrs. Anderson, I don't get it."
Joelle did not understand her suddenly. She could not hide her curiosity any longer. She curiously
asked, "I remember you used to be very friendly whenever you saw me in the past. You evenintentionally tried to get Sean and me to be together. But, ever since I was discharged from the
hospital, you've been treating me slightly differently."
"I don't understand, Mrs. Anderson. Did you change your mind?"
She was very straightforward as she asked that.
Joelle wanted to get a definitive answer. She wanted to know if Alice thought there was a chance for
Joelle and Sean to be together.
But, Alice's reply disappointed her.
'I didn't change my mind. Joelle, you're still a very good lady. I don't deny that. But, Sean has someone
more suitable for him. The Anderson family needs them too. So, I hope you can meet someone better."
Alice tried her best to say it euphemistically. But, Joelle understood what she meant.
'Them?'
Joelle immediately thought of Molly's triplets. She had a strong hunch suddenly. "Mrs. Anderson, can
you tell me why you would accept Molly and her triplets in such a short period?
"You should know better than me that Ms. May's triplets' identities are very ambiguous. If she gets
married to Sean, other people will gossip about the Anderson family."
Alice's expression changed when she heard that!
'Gossip?!'
'Alex, Ben, and Claudia are the Anderson family’s flesh and blood. They're my sweet grandchildren. Who dares to
gossip about the Anderson family?'So, she instantly defended, "No one will dare to criticize my daughter-in- law and my grandchildren with me
around."
"Grandchildren? Mrs. Anderson, are you really willing to accept a woman like Molly who got pregnant before
marriage? Are you willing to acknowledge the three kids as your own grandchildren?"
Joelle unbelievably insulted them.
She did not think that Alice would be so accepting.
'Impossible. No grandmother in this world would be so accepting. No one would be willing to allow their son to
marry a woman who got pregnant before marriage and has three children!'
However, Joelle did not expect that what Alice said next would completely surprise her.
Alice inexplicably disliked it when Joelle belittled Molly. She disliked it even more when Joelle demeaned her three
grandchildren!
