Chapter 1451
Looking at her bright smile, Vaughn softened his eyes a lot.
In the afternoon, Molly still felt a bit tired after a cup of coffee. Imperceptible, she lay her head on the
table and fell asleep. Seeing this, Vaughn put his coat on her.
When Lesley came to refill the cups for them and saw this scene, she couldn't help saying, "Mr.
Shepard, you really care about Molly. Did you know each other before?"
Vaughn didn't answer clearly, but said, "She went to Domster with the Shepard family for the free clinic.
She had a good reputation. Besides, she doesn't seem to be doing well here, so I try to help as much
as I can."
Lesley glanced at Rhett nearby, and sneered, "She’s being supervised all day. How can she be doing
well?"
Rhett was expressionless and indifferent. Lesley didn't bother to pay attention to him. She gently
helped Molly pull up her clothes and went to work.
Later, when Molly woke up, she was much more energetic. Looking at her sleepy expression, Vaughn
smiled, "You’ve slept so much during the day. I'm so afraid you won't be able to fall asleep tonight."
"I’m not intending to sleep at all," Molly replied calmly.
After what had happened last night, it would be impossible for her to fall asleep peacefully in that
building. She didn’t know whether Eaton would suddenly go crazy and barge in again.
That kind of situation was scary enough! Molly didn't intend to continue this topic. She got up to wash
her face and then went to see Lesley.
There were a lot of customers in the cafe, and Lesley was busy, so Molly simply helped out for a while.
In the evening, Rhett came to see Molly, "Dr. May, we should go. Mr. Scott specially booked a
restaurant to have a candlelight dinner with you as an apology."
Eaton knew that Molly was disgusted by what had happened last night. So he especially left work early
tonight to ask her out.
Before Molly could react, Vaughn walked over, and said in a deep voice, "Dr. May, we should go. Selon
has gone back after work."
Molly raised her eyebrows and directly ignored Rhett's words. She nodded and said, "Okay, I will be
ready in a minute."
"Ms. May..." Rhett frowned and spoke again.
But before he finished his sentence, Vaughn stopped in front of him, and said in a stern tone, "Ms. May
has her things to do. She’s forgiving enough to allow you to keep an eye on her all day. Don’t go too
far."
Rhett said coldly, "I'm keeping an eye on Ms. May on Mr.
Scott's orders. I'm just doing my job. I hope you understand, Mr. Shepard."
"Today, what if I say no?" Vaughn looked determined and imposing. Apparently shocked by Vaughn's
vibe, Rhett almost held his breath and didn't dare to make a move.Seeing that Molly was going to leave Vaughn, Rhett raised his voice immediately, "Ms. May, are you
sure you want to leave like this? You should know the consequences of angering Mr. Scott. Aren't you
afraid that he will do something in a fit of anger?"
It was a warning and a threat. Molly paused, and said, "Well, you go tell Eaton now. If he dares to do
something to Sean because of this, he will be very sorry. He has seen what the bottle of medicine
powder last night can do! Since he's so shameless, then I won’t go easy on him!"
With that, she left with a cold face. Seeing this, Vaughn immediately stepped up to follow. Rhett
frowned on the spot.
Seeing Molly going away, he could only follow up quickly and send a message to Eaton to inform him
of the situation here.
The cars quickly left Lesley's coffee shop one after the other.
