After they evacuated from the underground lab, Alioth set fire to the place.
When the security guards from the base arrived at the place, it was burning wildly. They couldn't get
close to the place.
Boom!
A violent explosion rang out in the darkness.
In the beach house, which was far away from the lab, Molly was sleeping. Abruptly, she was awakened
by the explosion. She reached for Sean, but found that he was not there.
She hurriedly sat up and looked around for Sean.
After a few minutes, she saw him standing in front of the window. There was dim light coming in
through the floor-to- ceiling window, and Sean was looking out the window, his back to her.
"Sean." Molly walked over to him.
Hearing Molly's voice, Sean turned his head. Seeing her awake, he frowned and asked softly, "You
were awakened by the sound?"
"Yeah. What's going on?" Molly looked out the window as she asked.
Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the fire in the distance and the night sky was lit up. After a
few seconds, she came back to her senses and asked, "What's... What's going on?"Then she realized the fire was in the direction where the underground laboratory was located. Her face
immediately changed color, and her voice tensed up. "Sean, what happened in the lab?"
Sean put his arm around her shoulders and nodded gently.
'What's going on?'
Molly was terrified. She grabbed his arm and asked anxiously, "How's Mr. Ballard? Is he all right? I
have to go over and check on them."
Anxiously, she turned around and was about to go out.
"Don't worry." Sean stopped her and reassured her, "They've left the lab. They’re all right."
"Really?" Molly doubted. She was in a panic.
"Yes."
After a few seconds, Molly calmed down. She sensed that something was wrong. She stared at Sean
and asked,’ What's going on? Are you hiding something from me?"
In response to her question, Sean sighed softly and told her the plan.
After hearing the plan, Molly frowned. "No, you're lying. Why would you blow up the lab if they just
wanted to capture Eaton?"
"Half an hour ago, Alioth called and said Eaton contacted someone at the base."
"I see." Molly breathed a sigh of relief. "As long as everyone's okay."However, the next second, she frowned again and gave a worried look, "It’s not good if the base knows
the lab."
The Shepard family had built the lab so secretly that the base would not find it.
But now Eaton had exposed the lab.
Molly was really worried that if the base found out about Selon, it would be a problem.
However, Sean was calm. He put his arm around her shoulders and reassured her, "That won't
happen."
Molly was confused. Just as she was about to ask him why, there was a knock on the door.
Then Tony's voice came on.
"Sir, Mr. Ballard is here with the others."
Molly was excited to hear that Mr. Ballard was there. She hurriedly went to change her clothes.
Sean couldn't help but smile. He had a doting look in his eyes.
Edmund put the medicines from the lab carefully on the floor and breathed a long sigh of relief. He felt
scared thinking about the violent explosion on his way back.
