Molly didn’t think too much about it. After finishing talking with Sean, she called Mr. Scott abroad to
share the news.
Mr. Scott was happy and said, "The Shepard family is the leader of the hermit medicine families. And
even the Scott family is inferior to them... I betrayed the Scott family, so I can’t introduce you to them. It
is a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity that the Shepard family likes you. If you make good use of the
free clinic, you will gain a lot of benefits."
Molly nodded, "I will."
Mr. Scott asked, "When is the free clinic?"
"At the beginning of next month!" Molly replied.
Mr. Scott pondered for a while and said, "You may not be able to participate in the research and
development of the reagents at that time. But it doesn't matter. I will send more people to the lab to
help."
"No, thanks. I can handle it," Molly hastily refused.
Mr. Scott sighed softly, "Kid, can you stop going ahead of yourself? Working in the free clinic will be
tiring. You may not get a break for an entire day. Do you want to overwork and make yourself ill? Your
priority now is to seize the opportunity and get into the Shepard family’s library. If you succeed, you will
help more people in the future."After a pause, he continued earnestly, "Molly, I know you have always been responsible and initiative-
taking. But you should treat yourself better. After all, your health is your life. You can't get ill. What’s
more, compared to letting you learn, my reagent is unworthy of mentioning! You must know the order of
priority."
Hearing this, she finally agreed, "I see."
After lunch, she went to the research laboratory to work.
To go to the free clinic without worries, she turned on the workaholic mode. She wanted to speed up
the program's progress, so she spent all day in the lab. Influenced by her, her team members all
worked harder. When they successfully developed Reagent Two a week later, they couldn't be happier!
Lynn pretended to wipe her tears off and said with emotion, "I've had a long week! I almost dropped
dead in the lab out of tiredness. Molly, you’re a terrible workaholic like a robot!”
All the other members thought the same.
Molly said helplessly, "I’ve never asked you to work overtime..."
"Yes. However, you are stronger than us but work harder. So, we were all stimulated! And we were too
embarrassed to loaf on the job when you worked overtime."
Then, Lynn took Molly's arm and said pitifully, "Molly, since we’ve successfully developed the reagent,
can you go home to sleep tonight? We all need a rest."
Molly couldn't help laughing, "Sure."
Lynn continued, "Can you treat us to a slap-up meal to reward us?"
"I support this proposal!""We want a treat!"
The other team members all echoed.
Molly laughed, thinking they might like a sumptuous dinner. She was not a stingy person, so she
quickly agreed, "Okay! You can eat whatever you want tonight! My treat."
"Great! I want a super expensive meal. Fellows, don't try to save money for Molly! She is rich!" Lynn
shouted excitedly.
The other team members said, "Dr. Joye, you’re generous."
Although they had said they wanted to have an expensive meal, they went to a tasty and affordable
restaurant in the end.
"Well, pot roast is the best in such weather."
"Yes! I heard it will snow tomorrow. It will be freezingly cold."
Eating around the table, they all flushed because of the warm night.
When Molly listened to their conversation and smelt the aroma of the food, her body also warmed up.
After dinner, she paid the bill, said goodbye to everyone, and directly went home. Unexpectedly, as
soon as she entered the door, someone hugged her.
