My Husband Is a Gary Stu Chapter 819

Upon hearing her snarky remark, the driver felt he should not have unlocked the car and let her in.

What a vicious woman!

Yet, Armand was not mad at her. He merely hummed in acknowledgment and continued to ignore her.

Fury surged in Genevieve when she saw how composed the man was. She could not help but grit her

teeth throughout the journey.

When the car arrived at Lovely Heart Hotel, she exited the car with a grim expression. After closing the

door, she looked at the man in the car and uttered in a serious tone, “This time, I'll choose my husband

carefully. Since the government wants us to have more babies, I'll ensure he's in his early thirties and fit

enough to get me pregnant with another child!”

Genevieve then slammed the door and dashed into the hotel.

Instead of looking out of the window, Armand ordered the driver calmly, “Let's go.”

“Yes,” the driver replied. He was relieved that Armand paid no attention to Genevieve throughout the

ride.

Meanwhile, Genevieve went into the elevator and reached the floor where Harry was staying. She rang

the doorbell repeatedly in frustration.

A few minutes later, someone came to open the door. “Genevieve...”

Harry looked disheveled, and he was still wearing yesterday's clothes. When he spotted Genevieve by

the door, his eyes brightened up. “What are you doing here?”

The teenage boy pressed his pale lips. Anyone who saw him in such a miserable state would

sympathize with him.

“What am I doing here? I came to collect your body just in case the hotel refuses to take responsibility

when you die of fever!” Genevieve uttered icily, venting her pent-up frustration on Harry.

Harry's eyes grew dim instantly. He muttered, “If that's the case, I'll check out of the hotel right now...”

Pressing his fist to his mouth, he coughed a few times.

Upon noticing how severe his cough was, Genevieve did not have the heart to reprimand him anymore.

She immediately held him up when he began to wobble, lest he fell to the floor.

She could also feel how feverish Harry was when she grabbed his arm and dragged him back to the

room.

After tossing the boy to the couch, she pointed at the medicines on the coffee table and questioned

him, “Why didn't you eat the pills that the receptionist gave? Even a three-year-old would know when to

take his medicine when he's ill.”

Staring at the boy who kept mum with his head lowered, Genevieve got furious. “Harry Hompton,

you're eighteen years old now. Stop being so bullheaded. You can put your life in danger!”

All of a sudden, she thought of Jack.

Jack grew up in a difficult childhood environment. His father did not shower him with love, and his

mother hated him. He did not have a chance to throw tantrums at anyone.

On the contrary, Harry was a lucky young man. Charice doted on him, and so did his father.

Lowering his eyes, Harry whispered, “I'm afraid of the capsules. During my childhood, when I was

down with flu, a housekeeper hid poison in a capsule and fed me with it...”

Harry's eyes grew dim instantly. He muttered, “If that's the case, I'll check out of the hotel right now...”

Genevieve was stunned, and her anger subsided a little. “Why didn't you tell the receptionist?”

“I don't want to trouble them. Besides, whenever I was down with a fever in the past, I would feel better

after sleeping through the night.” Harry placed his hands on his thighs and sat quietly like an obedient

child.

He then tilted his head to look at Genevieve. “I'm sorry, Genevieve.”

Upon seeing his teary eyes, Genevieve could no longer get mad at him. “Don't be. I should have asked

first before reprimanding you.”

She then walked over and placed the back of her hand on his forehead.

After getting a feel of how hot his forehead was, she went to the washroom, dipped a towel in cold

water, and placed it on Harry's forehead. When she was about to leave after helping him lie on the

couch, he gripped her wrist to stop her from going away.

“Where are you going, Genevieve?” Harry asked in a hoarse voice.

“Since you can't take the capsules, I'll get you some tablets.” She believed Harry would vomit out the

capsules even if he forced himself to swallow them.

The pitiful look on the boy's face aroused her sympathy. Sighing, she queried, “What would you like to

eat? I'll ask the hotel to prepare it for you.”

“Spaghetti with marinara sauce,” he answered.

“Okay. Got it.” Genevieve pulled her wrist away and pointed at the towel on the table. “You can use this

towel if the one on your forehead gets hot.”

Humming in acknowledgment, Harry watched her leave the room.
