Chapter 1104 Meanwhile at the Stocktons' residence, the gate to Sherry’s front yard finally opened.
Today was John and Shannon’s wedding and also the daySherry would be free.
She had woken up at six in the morning and had been waiting in front of the gate since then.
She walked out of the front yard.
The moment she stepped outside, she felt a heavy burden lifted off her shoulders.
Just when she was about to run and enjoy her regained freedom, a white sports car came over and
came to a halt in front ofher.
Sherry was forced to a stop.
The driver came out and opened the rear door to reveal a slender figure that emergedfrom the car.
The man was dressed in a white suit that complemented his fair complexion .
His handsome face was on display without his usual glasses.
They both exchanged stares.
He smiled at her like a charming prince, stunning her for a few seconds.
She had seen him in a white shirt before but a white suit was a first.
Was it his wedding attire? Her chest tightened a little.
She clenched her fists and forced a smile at him.
“Master Stockton, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your wedding?” John smiled.
“I'm here to give you a ride." Sherry was taken aback.
She maintained her smile and said, “You're giving me a ride to go out?” John pointed inside the car
without answeringher question.
“Get in.”
However, Sherry refused to move.
John narrowed his eyes.
“You have two options now: go back inside, or get in the car.” Sherry swapped her worried look witha
flattering smile and got into the car right away.
He then closed the door for her.
Maybe because it was his wedding day, the car was decorated with roses.
The whole interior of the car was filled with the fragrance of the flowers.
It was certainly a pleasant scent that one would enjoy.
Sherry sniffed around as John came in from the other side.
He sat beside her and said to the driver, “Let's go.” The driver drove through the main avenue of the
estate and reachedthe front gate.
Automatically , the security guard opened the gate and let the car through.
The car soon joined the traffic on the freeway.
Sherry frowned.
The car showed no signs of stopping even after it left the estate.
She asked out of curiosity,“ John, where are you taking me?” Was he not giving her a ride? John
smiled.
“Take a guess.” “I'm not guessing, you jerk!” Sherry grabbed his collar and asked, “Where are you
taking me?” “Why so serious?” John chuckled.
He was not mad at all.
Instead, he held her hand and pried them off his collar.
After tidying his collar and the white gloves he wore for the wedding, he said, “Today is my big day, and
you’ve lived with me for morethan a year now.
I want you to attend the wedding.
At least, stay for lunch.”
Sherry was shocked.
“You're bringing me to your wedding?" He took his white gloves off, tossed them aside, and sat further
awayfrom Sherry as though he resented her.
