entire department and you. Why don’t you lead the meeting? I’ll just be a participant.”
“No. Go get prepared, or I will call your mother right away.” Sherry said as she glared at him. Carl
pursed his lips. “Fine.”
He was not in a hurry to leave. Instead, he asked her, “Sis, how’re your face and your leg now?” Sherry
said, “My face is okay now, but my leg still hurts a little. It’s going to be fine.”
Carl watched as she tapped her keyboard diligently He added, “Did John know you were beaten. up?

meeting room later.”
Sherry nodded. “See you.”
Two hours later, Sherry arrived at the main meeting room with her assistant
