Chapter 1108 The waiters exchanged a quick glance, and one of them said to Sherry, “Ms. Fowler, this

way, please." Sherry followed the waiter inside.

Just when Mason wanted to go in, the other waiter stopped him and pointed him in anotherdirection.

“Sir, your seat is this way.

Please follow me.”

Mason frowned.

Sherry turned around with a smile.

“Mason, you go ahead.

We'll talk after the banquet." She was aware of Mason's feelings for her, but it was not the time totalk

about that.

She wanted to wait for this whole thing to end before telling him to move on instead of clinging onto her.

All in all, she wanted to cut all ties with the Fowlers and the Stocktons.

Mason’s eyes gleamed upon hearing her words.

He nodded and hummed a reply.

He then followed the other waiter to his seat.

Sherry followed the waiter to the front seat, where the bride’s family was seated.

She saw Matthew and Janine happily sitting in the main seats of the table while the other relatives

congratulatedthem.

The lively atmosphere fizzled out when Sherry appeared at the table.

Everyone looked at her in shock and responded coldly to her arrival as if she should not be there.

Matthew was just as shocked as the others.

“What are you doing here?" Sherry put on a fake smile.

“I was invited, of course." The waiter pulled out a chair for Sherry beside Janine.

Sherry glanced at the seat and decided to sit opposite Matthew and Janine instead.

She would rather sit at the furthest end with two lesser-known relatives than sat beside Matthew

andJanine.

The already awkward situation was exacerbated, and both Matthew and Janine wore a frosty look.

Matthew asked, "Where have you been in the past year?” Before Sherry could speak though, Janine

intervened andsaid, “The relatives are at the table, and it's Shannon's wedding today.

Let's wait until the banquet is over.” Matthew took a deep breath to suppress his anger.

There were friends and families at the table, and knowing Sherry’s rebellious personality, if she

enraged Matthewwith her words or actions, it would only embarrass them all.

He glared at Sherry.

“Since you’re here, enjoy the

banquet.

When this is over, follow me home." Home? Sherry's gaze shifted, but she did not speak a word.

Matthew ignored her and continued chatting with the other relatives.

Friends and families congratulated him and Shannon for making the family proud.

“I guess we’ll have to call Shannon Mrs.

Stockton when we see her next time.” Matthew shook hands humbly.

“You’re too kind.

Even if Shannon marries the king, she's still a junior in the family, so you guys can call her as you did

before.” “She’s a junior alright, but we can’ttreat her as we do." “Yeah.

John Stockton is the richest man in Glenchester, and she's his wife.” “Shannon is really capable.

I really wonder how you two raised such a perfect daughter.

If my daughter is half as capable as she is, I would be thankful.” Matthew nodded and waved humblyas

his grin widened.
