replied briefly, “I'm on my way!”
“Are you coming here? Did you manage to come out with something?” Johann was utterly concerned.
“Of course, I did,” Charlotte said. “But I am afraid they might stop me from going there.”
“Leave it to me,” Johann responded right away. “I still have some power after staying in the company
for many years.”
“All right. See you later then.”
“Okay.”
Ending the call, Charlotte pondered for a while and sent a message to Helen: How is it going on your
end?
“I'm afraid I'll need to take a few more days off. Ms. Gold...” Helen replied with a voice message.
