Chapter 137: What Have I Promised You
Su Wan blushed while her lips were sealed. Her voice was low and weak and she couldn’t utter words of resistance.
Feeling helpless, Su Wan could only widen her misty eyes, signaling to Jiang Xuecheng of her reluctance. She was thinking of something seriously, why did he kiss her?
Jiang Xuecheng knew Su Wan was protesting but he always thought that this look of Su Wan was lovable. His throat moved and immediately deepened his kiss.
Su Wan was overwhelmed with shame and annoyance and could only protest in her heart. Jiang Xuecheng was well-dressed but he was a beast within!

The sunshine of dawn had started to shine and a new day had just begun in S City.
When Su Wan woke up, she felt as if she was breaking apart. The morning temperature in S City in April was not high but Su Wan’s palms were sweating.
She opened her blurry eyes. As the curtains were thick, the room was still dark and it still felt like midnight.
Was it still early?
Su Wan rubbed her eyes and looked beside her. Jiang Xuecheng was not there anymore.
What happened last night flashed through her mind. Su Wan trembled and felt embarrassed.
Su Wan tucked the blanket and thought Jiang Xuecheng was too passionate about the activity but if it were to continue in this pace, her physical strength couldn’t keep up with his pace!
Moreover, he seemed to have made her cry last night.
Ah, it was so embarrassing. That rascal!
While Jiang Xuecheng was coaxing her gently, his gesture did not slow down and he seemed to have forced her to say something in the end…
However, she couldn’t remember the details. She was half-asleep and her mind was not as clear as usual. Jiang Xuecheng was controlling the whole time.
Redness appeared on Su Wan’s simple but elegant face. The more she thought about it, the more she felt it was not right and she had to discuss this with Jiang Xuecheng.
After sighing, Su Wan took her mobile phone from the table. She switched on her phone and saw that it was nearly time to go to work!
Jiang Xuecheng did not wake her up, sigh!
Su Wan frowned and quickly took her clothes and draped it on. She ran downstairs hastily toward the bathroom to start cleaning herself.
Jiang Xuecheng saw Su Wan coming down and smiled at her. “Good morning, Wan Wan, I’ve prepared breakfast for you.”
Su Wan darted him a complaining look before walking towards the dining table. “Why didn’t you wake me up when you woke up? We’re almost late.”
“I thought you were too tired and you were sleeping soundly, so I didn’t wake you up. Moreover, I’ll be sending you from today onward, it’ll be faster than hailing a taxi or going by MRT. Don’t worry, we won’t be late.”
Wasn’t it because of his excessive demands that she was so tired last night?
Su Wan blushed. Her lips moved a little. These words, to her, were hard to say.
Jiang Xuecheng did not notice Su Wan’s awkwardness. He pulled the stool beside him for Su Wan and smilingly passed her a cup of milk as he said, “I’ve heated up the milk. It’ll warm your stomach.”
Su Wan received the milk Jiang Xuecheng passed to her and felt shy instantly. She had forgotten that she would go to and leave work with Jiang Xuecheng from today onward. This arrangement had given her more time.
Su Wan sat down at the dining table, took a piece of egg and cheese sandwich, and took a few bites. Then, she looked at Jiang Xuecheng hesitantly.
His facial contour was cold and firm and he was in good spirits, which was completely the opposite from her.
Su Wan pursed her lips and finally made up her mind to speak up.
“Xuecheng, can we not be like this every night? When we are free, why don’t we go and watch a movie or go for a stroll? I feel that Fontainebleau is a good training ground for us.”
Jiang Xuecheng drank some milk slowly and his voice was extremely calm. “Wan Wan, can you specify what exactly we do every night?”
When he asked, he smiled and showed that he was actually not as calm as he was on the outside. Of course, he knew what Su Wan meant but Jiang Xuecheng loved to make her angry the most.
When she was angry, her face would flush red and she looked extremely cute.
Su Wan took a deep breath and had the urge to tear Jiang Xuecheng’s mask away.
Su Wan thought carefully and used a relatively euphemistic expression. “I mean, isn’t it too frequent for us to be performing our duty as husband and wife?”
Jiang Xuecheng smiled faintly while staring at Su Wan. His eyes were filled with teasing. “Wan Wan, is there any part you’re not satisfied with? You pass out at the end each time…”
“You…”
Su Wan was tongue tied for a while. She felt she had obviously underestimated Jiang Xuecheng’s shamelessness.
Su Wan took another deep breath. She felt Jiang Xuecheng was a person who yields the soft approach but rejects force. Hence, she smiled as she suggested, “Xuecheng, could we do every alternate day? I feel too tired.”
Jiang Xuecheng calmly drank another mouthful of milk. “Do you remember what you promised me last night?”
Su Wan was stupefied. A premonition arose in her heart as he replied, “I was really sleepy toward the end and did not have a clear mind. What have I promised you?”
Jiang Xuecheng put down his glass and looked directly into Su Wan’s eyes as he smiled faintly. “You promised that it’s up to me to decide such matter in the future.”
Su Wan was speechless and for a moment, she couldn’t differentiate if Jiang Xuecheng was frightening her or if it had actually happened.
At that time, she was half-asleep, so how could she know if Jiang Xuecheng was using charming language with her or not?
However, if this really had happened, she might have been muddleheaded and answered…
However, no matter what the reality was, Su Wan would not admit. She shook her head like a rattle drum with anxious eyes. “I didn’t! I really didn’t!”
“Think about it yourself.”
After this sentence, Jiang Xuecheng wiped his mouth with a piece of tissue paper calmly and said to Su Wan, “It’s about time we make a move. Wan Wan, let’s go. If you’re hungry, you may eat the bun in the car.”
Su Wan was stunned. She looked at her watch and stood up gloomily.
Sitting in Koenigsegg Agera R, Su Wan ate the bun silently. In her heart, she thought Jiang Xuecheng was too evil and sly, just like a fox!
She had been thinking of fighting for her rights with regards to the agreement she had planned for a long time now, but based on Jiang Xuecheng’s words which appeared out of thin air, everything was completely ruined.
Su Wan’s heart was bleeding!

When they arrived at the headquarters of Di Chen Group, a group of colleagues came greeting them the moment Su Wan and Jiang Xuecheng got down from the car.
“Good morning, Mr. Jiang and Ms. Su.”
Jiang Xuecheng was used to this kind of scene. He nodded silently and his look was cool.
Su Wan dared not act cold and indifferent like him. She had just been transferred from Long Teng International. Although no one talked about her identity in front of them, she believed that there would definitely be huge waves behind the scenes.
