Chapter 476: Regret For The Rest Of Your Life
Seeing that Sheng An’ning had agreed, Su Wan was overjoyed. She immediately took out her phone and prepared to call Jiang Haoxuan.
Sheng An’ning saw that Su Wan was taking out her phone to make a call and suddenly yelled at her.
“Turn on the speakerphone and turn the volume up to the maximum! Don’t say anything else. Just let Haoxuan come and see me!”
Su Wan was stunned for a moment. There was no difference between turning on the speakerphone and calling directly. However, Sheng An’ning did not go back on her word, so Su Wan still heaved a sigh of relief in her heart.
What she was most afraid of now was that Sheng An’ning would not be able to think things through and take Lin Fei’er with her to die.
Su Wan softened her voice and tried her best to act as if she fully complied with Sheng An’ning’s request.
“Alright, alright, alright. I’ll put you on speakerphone immediately! I promise that you’ll hear every word I say.”
Hearing the ringtone of the speakerphone, Sheng An’ning’s beautiful eyes softened. However, she did not stay quiet for two seconds before she saw the police officers with guns in their hands staring at her fiercely.
Sheng An’ning’s knife-wielding hand quivered. Her expression twisted and she went crazy again!
“Tell those police officers to retreat to the other side of the stairs. Don’t come near here!”
Sheng An’ning paused for a moment. Her red, bloodshot eyes were full of hostility.
“Or I’ll kill her!”
As she spoke, Sheng An’ning’s knife drew closer to Lin Fei’er, leaving a bloody wound on her arm. However, the wound was not deep. It was clear that Sheng An’ning had not completely broken down yet.
However, Sheng An’ning clearly felt threatened, especially when the police officers were holding guns in their hands. It made Sheng An’ning feel like she could be shot at any time.
In fear, Sheng An’ning grabbed Lin Fei’er tightly and pulled her back.
Sheng An’ning was petite. It was hard to tell where she got the strength to pull Lin Fei’er, who was half a head taller than her.
Of course, although Lin Fei’er was tall and slender, she did not weigh more than 100 pounds.
Threatened by Sheng An’ning with a knife, Lin Fei’er could only cooperate with her and walk backward. She held her stomach tightly with her hands, afraid that Sheng An’ning would kill her child with the knife.
Lin Fei’er and Sheng An’ning were standing at the stairs on the left side of the overpass. Even though Sheng An’ning did not have a knife as a weapon, she could push Lin Fei’er down at any time if she wanted to.
Seeing that the situation was getting more and more tense, the air instantly froze.
The onlookers were frightened by Sheng An’ning’s actions and could only keep quiet in unison. Moreover, it was the first time they had seen such a scene with so many police officers armed with guns. Everyone was shocked and did not dare to make a sound.
Seeing another knife wound on Lin Fei’er’s hand, Su Wan felt as if someone had punched her heart hard. It was so painful that she could hardly breathe, but she still tried her best to stay calm.
Su Wan immediately nodded at Sheng An’ning and agreed to all of her requests.
“An’ning, don’t be silly. We’ll listen to you. I’ll tell the police officers to step back. We’ll discuss everything slowly and listen to you!”
As Su Wan spoke, she immediately turned around and shouted at the police officers, “All of you, step back to the stairway on the right!”
The police officers looked at each other, unsure whether they should listen to Su Wan or not. It was still the police officer at the front who extended his hand and gave the order, signaling for everyone to follow Su Wan’s request.
He was probably the commander and had some authority among the police officers.
After the commander and all the police officers retreated to the stairway on the other side, they heaved a sigh of relief. The young lady with the knife was Sheng An’ning. If they really shot her rashly, it would be difficult for them in the future.
With the Jiang family’s background, this case became more complicated. The commander was not willing to get involved in this kind of trouble.
Just then, Su Wan called Jiang Haoxuan. Jiang Haoxuan’s voice came from the phone. He seemed to be surprised why Su Wan suddenly called him.
“Sis-in-law, it’s Haoxuan. Why are you looking for me?”
When Su Wan heard Jiang Haoxuan’s confused words, she looked at Lin Fei’er, who was in imminent danger because of him, and the determined and crazy Sheng An’ning, and her heart ached.
Seeing that Su Wan did not speak, another soft voice came from the other end of the phone. “Sis-in-law, can you hear me?”
Sheng An’ning suddenly heard Jiang Haoxuan’s voice, and her expression was also complicated. She stared coldly at Su Wan and motioned for Su Wan to speak.
Su Wan was stunned. She forcefully suppressed the helplessness in her heart and tried her best to speak to Jiang Haoxuan in a natural voice.
“Haoxuan, I have something very important to see you. No matter what you do now, you must come.”
Jiang Haoxuan was shocked by Su Wan’s serious tone.
“Sis-in-law, what’s so important?”
Jiang Haoxuan seemed to have suddenly thought of something. He changed his surprised tone and asked in surprise, “did Fei’er agree to my proposal and she wants me to go?”
Even from such a far distance, it was not difficult to tell from Jiang Haoxuan’s voice that he was pleasantly surprised at this moment.
Seeing that Sheng An’ning’s face was getting darker and darker, Su Wan immediately covered Jiang Haoxuan’s mouth.
“Haoxuan, don’t ask anymore. You have to come here immediately, as soon as possible, immediately!”
“If you don’t come, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. The place is the overpass on North Second Street. Remember!”
Before Jiang Haoxuan could say anything, Su Wan immediately hung up the phone.
One was the white moonlight in his heart that he had loved for more than ten years, and the other was the wife that he was going to marry after she was pregnant with his child. Su Wan really did not dare to imagine what kind of variables Jiang Haoxuan would bring after he came.
However, she called Jiang Haoxuan over because she hoped that Jiang Haoxuan could persuade Sheng An’ning.
Sheng An’ning was indeed detestable. It would be best if it could be resolved peacefully, but if it could not be resolved peacefully…
Su Wan’s gaze deepened. She couldn’t help but glance at the armed police officer who was standing guard behind her.
Su Wan clenched her teeth tightly. She didn’t want this accident to really end up killing people, but if it had to come to that, she would definitely do her best to protect Lin Fei’er.
All sorts of thoughts flashed through Su Wan’s mind. She looked at Sheng An’ning worriedly and asked nervously.
“An’ning, is this okay?”
Sheng An’ning curled her lips coldly. She did not comment and only stared at Lin Fei’er’s face, as if she wanted to poke two holes in her face.
The anxiety in Su Wan’s heart sank deeper and deeper, but she did not dare to act rashly, for fear of angering Sheng An’ning.
Actually, Su Wan really did not expect things to develop to this stage. She hoped that Sheng An’ning would still retain her last bit of rationality.
It was the first time Su Wan hung up on Jiang Haoxuan like this. Although her tone was calm, her words sounded like they were in a hurry.
What happened?
Jiang Haoxuan did not understand. However, Su Wan did not seem to be the kind of person who would joke about big things. In order not to waste time, Jiang Haoxuan immediately picked up the car keys and ran downstairs.
After about fifteen minutes, Jiang Haoxuan arrived at North Second Street. He didn’t expect to see three circles of people around the overpass on North Second Street!
What’s going on?!
A bad premonition faintly surfaced in Jiang Haoxuan’s heart.
