Later in the evening, Vincent came downstairs after finishing helping Alex with a medical bath. He
informed Aletta, “Mr. Alex is still in a coma.”
Aletta nodded, as this was expected.
She went upstairs and gave Alex another injection. Afterwards, she provided instructions for the
medication and some matters that needed attention.
Once settled, Aletta couldn’t help but succumb to her curiosity. She asked Vincent, “By the way,
regarding the lady who brought us water earlier, why she is still here? Wasn’t she a spy from the
elders? Now that everything is over, isn’t it dangerous to keep her around?”
Vincent hesitated for a moment before telling Aletta, “This is complicated… Originally, we were indeed
going to get rid of her after this. However, I found out some information that suggests Willow played a
role in last night’s smooth operation against the elders… She provided false information to the elders,
causing them to underestimate us. That led to their relaxation and ultimately facilitated our success.”
