Betty reflexively turned around upon hearing her name. Upon seeing who it was, her eyes instantly

your mother! After learning of it, I went to William, but he was dead set on your mother cheating on him.

Betty’s words had rendered Nicole in shock. She knew William slandered her mother for infidelity, but

To that, she asked, “Does William know about this then?”
