Chapter 719 On The Surface

While Dilan was trying to convince the sentients of Milarn to follow him and become one with his existence, the situation all over the surface was brutal, to put it lightly.

Thousands of Gates were constantly being utilized as more and more beings were finding their way to Milarn.

They awoke the Primordial Ascension's system before they joined a specific chat that had been created by the Undying Group, precisely the 341st Image of the Queen of Immortality.

The chat was a creation for their allies. It was important not to attack their own allies, which was easier said than done. After all, most didn't even know which Gods and races were their allies, to begin with.

There were too many different races to know every single allying race. This was especially the case when it came to the races that had been bright by the Abandoned Children.

Thus, the Image of the Queen of Immortality created a special kind of chat, where all allies were seen in a blue or green light. This light could only be seen by those in the group, and nobody could trick the system and join the group if they were not invited, or with the intention to protect the planet and help Dilan to fulfill his missions.

Joining the group was like signing a Soul Contract, and one would be thrown out of the group the moment one pointed killing intent to their allies.

That way, sly tricksters who would want to use the group to make it look like one was an ally before slaughtering everyone from the midst was not possible.

Nobody was thus worried when seeing someone with a green or blue light around them. Meanwhile, the other side attacked one another without knowing how to distinguish their allies and their foes. The Chaos Obelisks had been installed all of a sudden, an entire month before it was supposed to happen.

The Ancients and Primordials didn't have the necessary time to research everything about the system that had developed much further than it had been the case when they first created it. The Primordial Ascension and its system were now working independently.

Not even the combined forces of the Ancient and Primordials could access it anymore, not after they had used their last 'wish' and opportunity to move the Fourth Awakening of Milarn's Primordial Ascension forward.

After that day, it had become impossible for anyone to access the Primordial Ascension's system, and one had to put in requests to generate missions. The Universe's Fate was a little bit different in that regard but that was not of any importance, not anymore.

Using the knowledge of the Primordial Ascension's system to their advantage, the friendly fire didn't happen in the allied force of the Undying Group.

That was something they made sure of!

Meanwhile, the opposing forces were occasionally attacking each other, killing millions of their allies without knowing it.

The Undying Group's Alliance would be the last to say something against their stupidity and they started to exploit their advantage.

Felicia turned invisible with her Chameleon Troupe and they infiltrated the midst of their opposing forces. When the right timing occurred, they attacked their enemies' allies while being in the midst of another allied race of their enemies. What followed their sly tactic was a massacre between allied forces who didn't even know that they were allies, to begin with.

Felicia and her Chameleon Troupe tried the same tactic all over Camsun which had turned into one of the four big battlefields. They had to protect one of the four Chaos Obelisks that were still about to be installed properly. This would take a while and it was necessary to protect everything and everyone until the end.

However, just defending was not helpful. There were way too many Ascenders all around them to protect the Chaos Obelisk. Problems were bound to occur once billions of existences were clustered around a single spot.

Everyone understood the possible issues that could occur and they formed various smaller battlefields by attacking the forces that attacked them instead.

The easiest way to prevent a race from joining the war that decided the Supreme Ruler of Milarn was to siege the Gates where they emerged from.

Thus, a unique phenomenon happened at the same time all over Milarn. All Gates that were used for the Great War turned into the central point of the smaller battlefields. It didn't matter whether allies of the Undying Group emerged from the Gates or enemies, battlefields formed everywhere.

With over a thousand small battlefields all over the planet, tremendous damage was done to the environment in the surrounding area. Mountains of Corpses formed over the course of hours and the intensity of the war continued to increase. The battlefields spread out further as more and more powerhouses emerged from the battlefields that were divided into different sections.

Gods were fighting Gods and Mortal fought mortals. That was an unofficial rule everyone had to follow in order to maintain a certain degree of balance in the Universe.

If every God were to start slaughtering the mortals of their opponents, it would only take minutes for trillions of corpses to accumulate and only the Gods to be left behind.

No mortal would survive, and it wouldn't matter which side would win. After all, both sides would have lost by then.

Of course, there were also exceptions, when Mortals started to fight Gods, or when Gods noticed that all of his peoples had been slaughtered.

While the former was pretty rare, it still happened when existences similar to Dilan appeared all of a sudden. As for the latter, the most desperate Gods were also the most dangerous.

They had to be defeated as quickly as possible!

However, that was easier said than done.

It was not even known how many races had emerged on Milarn until now, let alone how many would still follow.

Everything was a big chaotic mess filled with death and destruction.

But that was exactly what some could make use of, Yvonne included!
