Chapter 723 World Elemental

The rumbling all over the planet intensified.

At the same time, the purple light of the beacons got denser and even brighter than before.

Not even closing one's eyes was enough to protect the mortals from the dazzling light.

In fact, even some Lesser Gods had issues making sure that they wouldn't be affected by the lights. Some shrouded their eyes with a tremendous amount of mana, while others used their powers to create walls around them.

One way or another it became a necessity for most to use something to block the bright rays.

Many were confused about what was happening, but there were even more who could tell for sure what was going on.

The five Chaos Obelisks had been activated by Dilan. That just happened!

The rumbling all over the planet was strong but it was nothing in comparison to what happened not even five minutes later.

An ear-piercing roar reverberated throughout the entire planet and far into space. Everyone heard the terrific roar, but nobody could truly fathom who, or what had caused the roar.

But there was no time to find out either. The rumbling all over Milarn got worse all of a sudden. It looked like the continent was being pulled apart before they moved back to their original place once again.

The same phenomenon repeated itself several times in succession and everyone's eyes were forcefully moved to the earth that had begun to breathe.

It was almost as if the planet had suddenly evolved into a living being, a World Elemental, or something of that sort.

This rarely happens when planets are overflowing with life force. There were a few more conditions that had to be met for a World Elemental to awaken all of a sudden…but all of them had been met today!

Blood of trillions of beings all over Milarn had been shed within 24 hours at that. The remnants of Life force of those trillions of powerful Ascenders that were now dead, their overflowing Essence, and their blood were more than enough to provide a sentient planet with the power they needed to awaken as World Elemental.

The only thing left was that they would have to create their own Essence Crystal. As long as the sentients of Milarn were capable of creating an Essence Crystal from scratch, it could awaken as a World Elemental.

That shouldn't come to a surprise for any of the Ancient True Gods but they were baffled nonetheless.

As for the Ancients and Primordials, they hadn't come to the battlefield yet because of the high possibility that an extremely powerful World Elemental could awaken from the depth of Milarn, the planet awoken by the Primordial Ascension.

Milarn had devoured the blood of hundreds of True Gods by now, and it was only because of the Ancients and Primordials that the blood of the Abandoned Children had yet to spread all over Milarn's surface.

They didn't want to acknowledge their existence but it was a fact that their bloodline was similar to the Ancient races and the Primordial races. However, due to their mutations, it was uncertain what a newly awoken anomaly of a World Elemental would become if the blood of Ancients and Primordials, or even mutations of their bloodlines were to run through the World Elemental's veins.

This was the only reason why the Ancients and Primordials had yet to descend onto Milarn. They knew about the likeliness of a World Elemental's birth and they didn't dare to give the World Elemental the means to become stronger than it would already be from all the blood that had been shed.

Staying away until the World Elemental would be born was the wisest choice. The World Elemental might actually become the destroyer of all life on Milarn.

Thus, only races the Ancients and Primordials didn't care about had been sent.

It was almost as if they were actually supporting the birth of the World Elemental and Dilan's attempts to turn Milarn into one of his Main ingredients for the True Divinity!

Of course, that was not actually the case. Dilan faced many issues shortly after he had activated the Chaos Obelisks.

Talking with the sentients of Milarn had been much more troublesome than he expected. Even after he spend a full day in milarn's core, dying over and over again while trying to talk to the sentients through the Flame of the Beginning, it didn't look like it was possible for them to converse.

The Flame of the Beginning gave its utmost but there was no answer. Nonetheless, Dilan and the Flame of the Beginning never gave up. They hoped that the sentients of Milarn would listen to them and that it was reading Dilan's memories precisely.

He exposed his memories quite openly. Thus, he wouldn't even notice if someone were to take a peek into his memories.

That was something Dilan did to make sure that the sentient of Milarn would start trusting him.

It might be enraged from the chaos he had caused on the surface of Milarn. Dilan wouldn't even be able to say anything against that.

He could tell that it was a great risk to wage war on Milarn but that was the only way to make the planet his.

The Universe's Fate provided him numerous means of support, including ways to actually communicate with the sentients. That was why the Chaos Obelisks existed and why Dilan had activated them; to communicate with the sentient and to link them together.

It was not only a means that allowed him to bind Milarn to his soul subspace and turn it into one of his True Divinity's main ingredients.

When Dilan had activated the Chaos Obelisk with his soul imprint, he noticed an immediate difference.

The planetary core of Milarn felt different and Dilan felt a unique connection. It was different to his connection with Rory, but there were similarities.

Dilan retracted the Flame of the Beginning and he began to smile lightly.

'I hope you liked the memories I showed you. Hate me if you want, but do-...' Dilan thought in order to speak with the sentients of Milarn, just to be interrupted all of a sudden.

[Thank you…]
