Chapter 750 Primordya Veiluris (5)

The Primordya Veiluris was much stronger than both Fate Changers had expected.

At least its size was much bigger than expected and it made sense why it didn't retaliate. The beings who had emerged from the Veil were not the main body of the Primordya Veiluris but merely its 'babies'.

They didn't retaliate with powerful attacks but mostly endured the attacks without moving much.

Dilan and the Eternal Darkness were far away from the Veil but they were still affected by the tremendous pressure that came from the Primordya Veiluris' main body.

The main body was way too big to pass through the Veil and it was actually doubtful whether it would ever be able to pass through the Veil. At least, as long as Nial used his Power of Chaos to keep the size of the Veils below a certain threshold, nothing bad should happen. A few more babies of the Primrodya Veiluris may pass through the Veils but as long as Nial and Dilan studied their 'combat' strategy, if one could label it such, there wouldn't be a big problem.

Those theories were currently flashing through Dilan's mind as he looked at the sun-sized eye that stared at him and Nial.

[You may have defeated my babies today, but I will come back later.] The threatful voice resounded in their heads once again.

It was a voice with the sole purpose to speak with Nial and Dilan. Nobody else in this Universe attracted the attention of the Primordya Veiluris.

Why was that the case?

Because nobody could even injure its little babies!

[Never forget…I'm only one of many…we are the weakest…and our master will come for your Universe sooner or later]

A chilling air spread through the space around them all of a sudden and the presence of the Primordya Veiluris intensified without warning.

[He will devour everything! Just wait and see…]

After that was said, the sun-sized eye blinked once before it disappeared. The Primrodya Veiluris' pressure dissipated into thin air and the Veil looked like it had never been used before. The Veil's size slimmed down all of a sudden, but nobody dared to move. It was not certain whether the Primordya Veiluris would return or not.

'It cannot pass through the Veils because passing through it requires too much energy…it forcefully slims down the Veil's size…' Dilan thought at first when he regained the ability to breathe once again.

He was still shocked by what he had witnessed. It was oddly similar to what he and Nial had encountered in the City of Trials, but it was a lot less impressive, somehow.

'I can survive this piece of shit!' Dilan told himself before he recalled the lacking pieces of information which he should have gotten from Nial a long time before.

"...Did you even see the Primordya Veiluris' entire body before…." He thus asked out loud, his voice full of anger

"...I faced four claws and ten heads." Nial responded, not exactly sure what else he was supposed to say. The situation didn't go according to his plan, that was for sure.

"In that case, you didn't see its entire body, let alone the main head…great…"

"I cannot see, idiot…"

"That was not meant literally. Just try to focus on closing the Veil as much as possible, otherwise, the real Primordya Veiluris will come and beat the shit out of you!" Dilan was angry with Nial.

The Eternal Darkness had fucked up the entire situation, just to destroy one of the Primordya Veiluris' babies. If the Primrodya Veiluris would have been only one head, Dilan would have agreed to attack aggressively because there was not much resistance.

However, Nial knew that the Primordya Veiluris had multiple heads and arms. Dilan missed out on that information, which was more than enough reason for him to get angry with the Eternal Darkness.

"Where the hell are you going? We are not done yet!!" Nial shouted all of a sudden but Dilan ignored him.

"Just close to fucking Veil… What the hell do you mean 'we are not done yet'?! It's over and out! I take care of the injured and we prepare ourselves for when he reappears again, whether it's with his main body, or his master!!" Dilan said in anger without throwing a single glance back at Nial.

Their fight had been a miserable display of teamwork, if one could even say that they showed some teamwork, to begin with.

It was a great fortune that they were still alive and Dilan swore to himself that he would become a lot stronger.

If the weakest of the Primordya was already such a powerhouse, then their master, Hoert, or whoever it was, would be even stronger!

With that in mind, the only thing Dilan could do for the time being was to become stronger and stronger, fight against the Primordya Veiluris' babies whenever they dared to attempt passing through the Veils once again.

As for Nial, he could close the Veils using his Power of Chaos. The impure Chaos that permeated the entire galaxy was strong enough to be used by Nial to close countless low-grade Veils and prevent them from being nurtured.

Dilan was certain that Nial was capable enough to do his fucking job. Dilan didn't like Nial, but he could tell that Nial was powerful and usually more level-headed than he was right now.

He had no idea what exactly happens when Nial encountered The Primrodya Veiluris' ten heads and four claws but Nial's anger and uncontrollable emotions were the results of their first encounter.

Something happened during their first encounter, however, Dilan knew that it was not something that would be told in his story!

Thus, instead of interfering with anything Nial did, Dilan would rather stay as far from the Eternal Darkness as possible.

He helped the Primordials, Ancients and the other powerhouses who had planned to help the two Fate Changers in the fight against the Primordya Veiluris.

They had failed miserably but it was the attempt to help that demonstrated quite clearly how much the Universe had changed in the last several centuries.

The Primrodya Veiluris had promised to return, and it had announced the arrival of the 'Master'.

However, when exactly they would come was still uncertain…or if it would happen, to begin with.
