Chapter 722 Beast Gods

Not only greater races and all kinds of powerful individuals from intelligent races had lingering feelings of wrath and hatred toward the Ancients and Primordials.

There were also various Monster Clans who had attained a certain degree of intelligence. These Monster Clans sought revenge more than everything, especially when it came to the races that made living the most difficult for them.

Rory had been searching for various Monster Clans and she got hold of a bunch of them. There were even Mythical Monsters whose power was equivalent to Ancient True Gods without attaining the title of a Beast God.

The Title of a Beast God was something that could only be attained by one member of a monster kind each, one element each, and so on.

Nobody really knew how many Beast Gods existed but their numbers were extremely restricted, and they were usually extremely powerful.

After all, a Beast God was the strongest existence within a monster kind. That being said Elemental Beast Gods were usually even stronger than other Beast Gods because they only received the title of an Elemental Beast God when they were the strongest existing monster with the strongest elemental affinity.

Their strength was said to even exceed the power of Ancients and Primordials, but that were mere legends. After all, it was rare to see one of the few Elemental Beast Gods, let alone of the Beast Gods of Mythical creatures.

In the end, it was not even certain if the Primordial Ascension had the capabilities to restrict the power of such existences. Fortunately, they would never find out because there was no Beast God nearby.

But there were many other powerful existences, including True Elemental Dragons whose age exceeded the age of planets and stellar systems.

They were known for acting peacefully and avoiding battles against the Ancients and Primordials. However, the appearance of the Mystic Mission and the decision the Universe's Fate made seemed to have changed their decision to refrain from intervening in the happenings of the Universe.

Thus, monsters that could cause catastrophes all over the known Universe emerged on Milarn. Their powers were partially restricted but that didn't make a big difference to them.

They made use of their special means and acquired knowledge to wreak havoc and kill every single opponent, who dared to obstruct them.

Contrary to the tactic of most races, who used a huge quantity of Soldiers to fight, the monsters didn't even think about doing the same.

Most of them didn't care about the unofficial rules of the Universe. They were not even bothered about the official rules that were universally known by everyone.

Only the law of the jungle and the laws that applied to the Universe applied to these monsters as well. As for everything else…why would they bother about them? As long as they were strong enough, there was no reason to be afraid of anything. Even if someone else were to be stronger, the worst that could happen to them would be death.

Dying in a battle against their suppressors was honorable, and not something worth being afraid of. Thus, the vast majority of monsters fought without fear, destroying their opponents in masses. They didn't care whether mortals or gods died as they only cared for the victory and their revenge!

Time passed slowly and the mountain of corpses grew larger and larger. Both sides faced a terrific number of casualties but the advantage of two dozen and more Abandoned Children on their side was clearly visible.

Thousands of Gods died at their hands, yet, not a single Abandoned Children had died. Some were severely injured but that didn't make a big difference in their combat prowess.

They would retreat and let other Gods tend to the wounds while their annihilation would continue in an area where they wouldn't have to strain themselves too much.

As time passed, the number of Gates that continued to be used decreased rapidly. More than 24 hours had passed since the first Chaos Obelisks had been installed and it was about time that they would be activated.

The entire surface of Milarn had turned into a wasteland and it was questionable if everything could regenerate and grow back to its old glory, to begin with.

Was Milarn already beyond salvage? Would it be possible for someone to live on this planet? If it was still possible to live on Milarn, what happened to the territory and everything the allies of the Undying Group had been promised? The lands had been destroyed and there was hardly anything intact left behind.

When the first allies of the Undying Group began to question if it was actually worth it to have joined the forces of the Undying Group, the earth began to tremble.

All over the Milarn, the earth began to tremble violently. Everyone standing on the ground was barely able to remain on their feet as a tremendous heat erupted from below them.

The restrictions put on every Ancient True God intensified all of a sudden and everyone was pulled closer to the ground.

It felt like the gravitational force increased manyfold when four bright beacons erupted all over milarn seemingly out of nowhere.

The four beacons were purple in color and they shone in both directions, high in the air, and piercing through the ground until they reached Milarn's core.

The beacons didn't cause any harm and they were unrestricted by the physical world of the Universe. They shone brightly and impacted on the crimson light spheric light that expanded rapidly.

While many didn't know what was going on, the higher authorities of both sides quickly figured out what was going on.

A bright smile formed on the face of the members belonging to the Undying Group while the opposing forces could barely control themselves.

They were shuddering in fear, unable to imagine the terror of the Ancients and Primordials once they returned home…their mission had failed and the threats issued by the Ancients and Primordials were certain to come true.

However, that was not something the hostile forces would witness.

They were about to meet their end!
