Chapter 325 She Was the Scapegoat
Hearing Johnson’s words, Theresa was dazed for a few seconds. Then she asked, “You want to see
them?” Johnson said, “I haven’t had a meal with them.” Since he met the kids in the car, he had had
dreams about
them.
“Okay.” Theresa smiled. She had heard of her kids from her father frequently these days. “I will bring
them here.” “Is it so hard for me to see my grandsons?“. Sensing Theresa’s hesitation, he asked, “Is
there anything wrong between you and Charlie? Doesn’t he allow you to see the kids?” He was clear
that Theresa wouldn’t leave her kids for so long, so he had some guesses.
Theresa looked at him. “I am going to divorce him. It won’t take long to finish all the relevant
procedures. After I get divorced, I can stay with the kids.”
“But you told me that you wouldn’t divorce him in such a hurry,” said he. “What’s going on?” He was
sure that something went wrong.
She was surprised at her father’s acuteness. “Yes, there’s something wrong. I have long planned to
divorce him actually. Now I just want to get divorced as soon as possible.” She had been waiting for
Charlie to discuss the
divorce with her these days, but Charlie hadn’t contacted her even once.
After having breakfast with Johnson, Theresa went out to work. Keith had introduced a patient who

acupuncture treatment to her and now she was heading to the hotel where the patient stayed. The
patient was a skier, named Ronald Woodland, who just came to this city and settled in the hotel.
When Theresa arrived at the hotel, she parked her car at the parking lot nearby and called Ronald’s
assistant,
who told her to wait in the hotel lobby. After a few minutes, she saw Rose in the lobby.
Rose looked better after taking rest for two days. She came here for breakfast since it was a five–star
hotel where she often enjoyed the food with her friends.
In a minute, Jimmy caught up with Rose. “Rose, my honey…” He hoped that she was not angry at him
now. When he knew that she came here for breakfast, he followed her immediately. Even though Rose
had ignored him for days, he still wanted to have a talk with her.
Rose said, “Get away.”
“That was a coincidence. Trust me,” said Jimmy. “It’s Theresa that tries to destroy our relationship. You
know It
hate her, right?”
“But I indeed saw you grab her hand,” argued Rose. “Jimmy, I think I am just an idiot. I know that you
are still in
love with her. Just go and find her. You should be with her. Leave me alone from now on.”
“What?” Jimmy said, “You just wrong me. I can swear to God that you are the only one I love. Honey, I
know that you are unhappy. But don’t ignore me, please. I know I should go to hell. But I really love
you. Please let me stay with you, okay?”
Rose said, “You are so annoying.” She pushed away his hand but he still managed to grab her hand
gently.
Watching them for a while, Theresa was sure that Rose was no match for Jimmy who was so
experienced in
making a girl happy. She guessed that Rose was not angry now. ‘She might get back to him soon. They
are still in love with each other but I become the scapegoat. What bad luck.‘
