Before Theresa could say anything, Jonathan and Brenda had already left.
Theresa looked at the closed door and found it was too late to leave.
Hearing the door closing, Charlie opened his eyes again and went back to sleep after confirming that
Theresa was still there.

held the pillow and looked at the man. Her hand was held by him, and she could not fall asleep at all.
Theresa leaned on her elbow with her head in her hand and stared at him for a long time.
The next morning, Charlie woke up before Theresa.
He opened his eyes and found that he was holding her in his arms.
He knew he had indulged himself and gotten hammered the day before, but he didn’t expect her to be
here.
The light shone through the window. Her face looked soft and delicate, which melted his heart.
But the next second, Charlie’s warm heart was filled with disappointment as he thought of what she
and Dick had done at the dinner the day before.
He let go of her and sat up. After looking around the room, he found that it was Theresa’s room.

After getting out of bed, Charlie went to the bathroom.
The noise he made awakened Theresa. She opened her eyes and saw him coming out of the
bathroom. Charlie sat down and buttoned himself up. In order to help him sleep well the night before,
someone took off his suit jacket, and he only wore a shirt. Now the shirt was a little wrinkled, and his
collar was unbuttoned.
It seemed as if he had been forced to have sex.
Charlie asked, “Why am I here?”
Theresa looked at his cold face and felt speechless. She hadn’t questioned him yet, but he asked her
in such a cold tone.
Theresa explained, “You got hammered last night. Roderick drove you back.”
As soon as Theresa finished her words, Charlie approached her. He grabbed her shoulders and
pressed her down on the bed. He then stared at her and said, “Why did you let me sleep with you when
I was drunk? Theresa, you’re going to get married. Why did you still do this?”
“What?” Theresa looked at his cold face and knew that he didn’t seem to be joking. His words came
from the bottom of his heart.
“What the hell! That’s so ridiculous!” thought Theresa.
She snapped, “Are you sure you are still sober? Do you realize how much you got drunk last night?
You shouldn’t have come to my home. You should have gone back home.”
Charlie said, “I was drunk and unaware of what I was doing. Were you also drunk? Why didn’t ask me
to go back? Why did you let me enter your room? You’re so stubborn. Can I, a drunk man, force you to
do something you don’t want to do?”
The one who had caused her trouble actually complained first. Theresa was really impressed.
She sneered. “Charlie, you’re really shameless. I let you stay and sleep in my room out of kindness.
But you blame me instead of saying thanks?”
Charlie retorted sternly, “Your house is so big. Why didn’t you let me sleep in another room? Why did
you insist on letting me sleep in your room? You just wanted to make a move on me, didn’t you? I
wouldn’t blame you for that before, but now you’re Dick’s girlfriend. I have no interest in having
anything to do with you. It makes me feel dirty.”
“Now, get out of here!” snarled Theresa.
She was so angry that she didn’t want to reason with him anymore.
Inwardly, she yelled, “You shameless bastard! You’ve been pestering me for the whole night. How dare
you say that I’m dirty? It’s just too insulting. When he gets drunk next time, I’d rather drive him out and
make him sleep on the road than let him enter my room!”
Seeing her angry face, Charlie said, “You’re so angry because I touched a raw nerve in you, right?”
“Yes, you are right, Mr. Charlie. Get out! Hurry up! It’s early in the morning. You don’t want more sleep.
But I want it,” shouted Theresa.
