Charlie looked at her with a frown and said, “Are you going to call her or not?”
The coldness in his eyes made Sarah take her phone out of fear. She felt Charlie was especially scary
today.
She asked, “What happened? Did she steal from you?”
Jonathan, who was standing on the side, said, “She took Leonard and Ben away.”
Sarah was dazed for a moment. “What? Really? Why would she do that? Is it because you divorced
her and she wants revenge? I told you, she’s not a good person! See, now that you two are divorced,
she won’t even leave the kids out of this, it’s terrible.”
Charlie looked at her coldly.
Sarah’s heart trembled under his gaze. “I know you want to find your children ASAP, I’ll call her now.”
Then, she called Theresa but realized…
“I can’t reach her.”
Sarah said, “That’s weird, she picked up my call just yesterday. Let me use another number.”
She then took out another phone and called again…

Robert picked up the call and said Johnson was in a meeting. Sarah looked up at Charlie, who had
already stood up. Sarah knew, he was definitely headed for the office!
She said, “Charlie, I’ll go with you!”
Then, without even putting on more clothes, she walked out the door with Charlie. However, before she
even got in the car, it left without waiting for her. Sarah was completely speechless. She watched this
cruel man leave.

Johnson was in the conference room having a meeting with the people in the company when Jimmy
walked in.
Seeing his ex-son-in-law, Jonathan stood up.
“Why are you here?”

Johnson looked at Jimmy with disbelief. “Who needs your help?”

Jimmy said, “I’ll be waiting in your office.”

divorced? I’m telling you, I didn’t know those things between the two of you before, but now I won’t let
you bully my daughter again.”
“Where’s Theresa?” Jimmy asked, “The company’s in trouble, but she didn’t come to help you?”
Johnson said, “You think I’d tell you?”
Jimmy looked at how on-guard Johnson was, took out the files from his pocket, and said, “These are
the files I got from my boss. I didn’t originally want to come, why else do you think I’m here?”
