She went to the room Jimmy was in and saw him laying in bed, taken care of by Rosales. “Jim, are you
okay? Look at you, why did you have to mess with them? Why not just avoid them?”
Jimmy was in pain and coughed. Rose stood on the side. Her heart was hurting too watching him like
this. She clenched her fists, not knowing what she could do to help.
She called her father again, hoping there would be hope once her father returns. Pat Nandlall picked
up the call and Rose asked, “Dad, when are you coming back?”
“I’m on the way, we’ll talk when I’m there,” Pat Nandlall said before hanging up. Not long after, he
arrived. Along with him were Roderick and another doctor Roderick brought to help.
Rose saw Roderick and said, “Uncle Roderick, you’re here. Please take a look at Jim, he’s badly hurt
and almost dying, I’m worried.”
Seeing the expression on Rose’s face, Roderick told the other doctor to check up on Theresa first.
They were here because Charlie called them to take a look at Theresa. Theresa was hurt and needed
to be looked at. “Go there first, I’ll be there in a minute,” Roderick said. The doctor nodded and went to
Theresa’s room with Brenda. Roderick then looked at Rose and followed her to the door, where
Jonathan was at.
“Dr. Hill,” Jonathan said.
“Let me take a look at Jimmy,” Roderick Hill said.
“Mr. Calsis did not say to treat him,” Jonathan said.
“I just want to see when he’ll die, I’m not going to treat him,” Roderick said as he walked in the door.
Jonathan watched Roderick from the side.
When Rosales saw Roderick, her eyes lit up. Roderick walked over and stood beside Jimmy. He cut
open
Jimmy’s shirt, examined him, and pressed on his wounds with his gloved fingers. Jimmy breathed
heavily
from the pain.
