He’s Really Insane
Theresa looked at Charlie. She wanted to say yes. After all, she had nothing to do with Charlie. Since
she had pretended to be Charlie’s wife, why couldn’t she pretend to be Dick’s girlfriend at the moment?
However, Charlie’s eyes were fixed on her, which made her unable to nod.
Dick smiled and said, “What’s wrong? Mr. Calsis, do you want me to prove that I’m dating Theresa? I
told you. why don’t you believe me?”
Dick lowered his head to kiss Theresa in front of everyone.
Seeing that Dick was approaching her, Theresa raised her hand to stop him and reminded, “Enough is
enough.”
Dick stopped. But from Charlie’s point of view, the two of them seemed to have kissed.
Dick looked at Theresa and asked in a low voice, “Do you still love him?”
He could tell that Theresa didn’t want Charlie to be sad.
Although she had divorced Charlie, she still cared about Charlie’s feelings so much.
Charlie was really happy.
It seemed that everyone in the world would be attracted by his charm.
Seeing what was happening before his eyes, Charlie took a deep breath and said, “I’m not feeling well,
so I’ll go back first.”
After saying that, Charlie stood up and quickly walked out of the room.
Seeing Charlie leave, Dick raised his head and said to Sam, “I’m going to marry Theresa. I’m just here
to tell you about it, in case you blame me for not informing you in the future.”
Sam looked at Theresa.
Theresa felt uneasy because of their gazes. She stood up and said, “I have something urgent to attend
to now. I’m leaving.”
When she promised to come for dinner with Dick, she didn’t expect such a scene.
Theresa stood up and Dick left with her.
Rawlins, who was standing at the door, didn’t expect them to come out so soon.
Theresa didn’t say anything. She took her phone and walked out of the restaurant.
Dick followed her. “Dr. Cameron.”
Theresa didn’t answer but walked quickly.
When they arrived at the elevator, Dick followed her in. He looked at her and asked, “Are you angry?”
“Mr. White If I had known that you would make such a joke on me, I wouldn’t have come,” said
Theresa. Dick said, “I just said that to piss my father. You don’t have to take it seriously.”
Theresa raised her head and looked at Dick. “I always respect you and treat you as my friend. I want to
help you because you can’t sleep well. But Dick, you really went too far today!”
“Are you so angry because of Charlie?” Dick asked. “do you still have feelings for him? Do you think
you can still get back together?”
Theresa remembered that Charlie had left in a fit of anger.
She clenched her fists and said, “It has nothing to do with Charlie. It’s just that no woman likes to play
such a boring game with you.”
“What if I say that I’m not playing games, but really want you to marry me?” Dick asked while staring
his dark and deep eyes at her.
Theresa felt a little suffocated and said, “Today, I finally become aware of your identity, Mr. White. You
are someone I can’t afford to latch on to. We belong to two different worlds. You don’t have to joke with
me like this.”
“No,” said Dick. “I really like you. When you are with me, I can sleep better. You may think that my
father is a bigwig but in fact… I don’t have any feelings for him. He comes to see me even less
frequently than Chandler. In the past few years, nobody has accompanied me except Rawlins. I just
want to have a warm home all of a sudden. Can’t I?”
Theresa was dumbfounded. “I’ve divorced two times, and I have two children.”
“I don’t care about that. Leonard and Ben also like me. If we got married, I would treat them well.”
Theresa couldn’t believe what he said.
He was really insane.
