“Jim.” Gentry walked in.
Jimmy looked very haggard. His face was bruised but still handsome. “Gentry, you’re back.”-He
coughed as he moved a little.
Gentry said, “Don’t move! I just came to see you. Sorry I’m late. I was busy today.”
“I’ll leave you guys to talk.” Rose picked up the glass and walked out.
Gentry sat down, asked Jimmy if he was all right, and told him about Cameron’s Group.
Jimmy said, “They’re so cunning to hype their donation. We all know what’s going on but we
can’t do anything about it. It must have been Charlie’s idea!” He was sure Charlie had given the idea to
the Cameron family for Theresa because Johnson wasn’t that smart.
Gentry asked, “What are we going to do? Should I donate more money?”
“What’s the point? They’ll just call you hypocritical no matter how much you donate. Just focus on your
own brand,” Jimmy advised.
