Austin looked surprised. "You're from the livestock race?"

he asked, raising an eyebrow.

He had never heard of the livestock race before.

The creature made a snorting sound. His lion's head, so incongruous with his human body, wore a

smug expression.

"Yes, I'm from the livestock race!

Does that make you afraid? It should!

Release me at once, and if you kneel before me and apologize, I might let you go unharmed.

If you don't, you'll face grave consequences," he warned.

He thought that Austin was scared, and worried about angering the livestock race.

Austin sneered. "What makes you think I'm afraid?"

he said coldly.

Apart from the god of chaos,

no one in all the worlds could pose a legitimate threat to Austin.

He was, without question, one of the most powerful beings in existence, second only to the god of

chaos.

The creature saw Austin's disdain and felt insulted.

"Brat, what are you waiting for? Release me now!" he roared.

Austin sighed impatiently. Using only the slightest energy, he tightened his grip fractionally.

The creature's fist exploded.

The creature screamed,

and watched in shock as his arm shattered to pieces too.

Writhing with pain, the creature collapsed onto the ground.

Austin immediately grabbed the creature by his remaining hand.

"Now, answer my questions honestly.

Or else you will be the one facing grave consequences,"

The creature groaned in response.

"Where on earth are the eight branches of pilgrims?"

Austin asked.

The creature struggled to sit up as blood dripped from the stump of his ruined arm. "Brat, are you really

going to make an enemy out of the livestock race?

Don't you understand the trouble you'll be in if you mess with us?"

he said bitterly.

Austin's eyes narrowed.

Without a word, he smashed his captive's other arm.

Once more, the creature let out a long howl of misery,

falling down in pain.

He gritted his teeth and gathered his energy, trying to regenerate his arms.

The lion-headed creature was a divine god, and divine gods were capable of rebuilding their flesh even

if they sustained severe injuries. It was easy for him to regenerate limbs that had been broken or torn

off.

Soon, however, the creature began to panic.

He realized that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't regrow his arms.

A terrifying law had been placed on the wounds on his arms, preventing him from healing and growing

back the destroyed flesh and bone.

'Does this mean I've truly lost both arms permanently?' he thought with a stab of terror.

"Damn it!

Brat, what did you do to me?"

the creature snarled, looking shocked and furious.

At this point, a group of people appeared in the distance. Their leader was a creature with a snake's

head over a human body.

They noticed Austin and the lion-headed creature and approached them at once.

"What's going on?" the leader demanded as he looked at the lion-headed creature.

"Where did this human brat come from?

I've never seen him before. And what has he done to you?"

The leader with the snake head was a genuine premium-grade divine god.

He could be considered a master in this world.

Austin, however, could crush him as easily as he would step on an ant.

"Elder Sergei, I lost my arms because of this human brat. Please punish him for what he's done to me!

He's here asking about the eight branches of pilgrims... he knows about them," the lion-headed

creature cried out.

With that, he ran away from Austin, hurrying towards the group of creatures that accompanied the

leader with the snake head.

Austin made no move to stop him.

After all, with the arrival of Elder Sergei, he had a better target now. If he did want to kill or capture the

lion-headed creature in the future, it would be easy for him to do so.

"Ah, so you are with the eight branches of pilgrims!" Elder Sergei said accusingly to Austin.

He turned to his men. "Capture him!"

They instantly obeyed, rushing all together towards Austin.

They all had a human body, but their heads differed. Some had wolf heads, some had tiger heads, a

couple of them had bear heads, and one even had an elephant head.

Austin looked unconcerned. "If you don't want to die, you should just leave me alone,"

he said indifferently, clasping his hands behind his back.

To be honest, his attackers were too weak to give him any trouble at all.

The chaotic sky-devouring beast and the hundreds of primitive gifted beasts with Austin also stood still.

They knew the true power of Austin, and many of them had playful smiles on their faces.

These strange-looking creatures were too weak to injure them in the slightest.

They didn't even bother to make a move against them.

"Give up and come with us now!"

the creatures yelled, forming a circle around Austin.

They launched their strongest attacks one after another,

and blasts of energy rained down on their target.

Austin stood without moving, his hands still clasped behind his back. He didn't lift a finger to defend

himself.

There was no need. None of the attacks reached him.

Wave after wave of energy vanished into thin air before they touched his skin, like snow melting in

sunlight.

In fact, Austin had set up several space teleportation arrays around him. The energy blasts were all

being transferred elsewhere.

"What's wrong?" one of the creatures shouted.

"What's going on?"

"What's happening to our energy?"

The members of the livestock race who had attacked Austin were bewildered. After several moments,

they ceased their onslaught and stepped back, watching him with wariness and disbelief.

"Be careful. This human brat has something up his sleeve!" Elder Sergei said, glaring at Austin.

He could tell that the young man in front of him was a tough opponent.

One of the creatures decided to try again.

He stepped forward and shouted at his companions, "Come on, guys!

Bring it all on!"

The others followed his lead and launched another barrage of powerful attacks against Austin.

But the result was the same. He was completely unharmed.

Every wave of energy vanished before it could touch him.

Austin was getting irritated at their refusal to give up, and he said, "Beat it!"

With a slight wave of his hand, he released a terrifying counterattack.

Blasts of energy struck the members of the livestock race,

and they were thrown into the air like cannonballs.

Elder Sergei was stunned. "Who the hell are you?" he asked Austin.

The power of this young human was absolutely astounding.

"You're not fit to know my name," Austin said icily.

"Now, answer my questions honestly or you will be sorry."

He stared impassively at Elder Sergei.

"Watch your tongue, you brat!

Don't you dare cross the livestock race!

I've already sent word to my superiors.

The governing gods of our race are on the way, so if you don't want to die, surrender now!"

Elder Sergei bellowed, sounding incensed at Austin's threat.

"No matter how many governing gods you turn to help, they can't save you," Austin replied.

He waved his hand again, and a mysterious force materialized around Elder Sergei.

In no time, the snake-headed leader found himself flying against his will towards the young man.

"Stop!" his subordinates shouted, scrambling to help Elder Sergei.

They hurled a series of desperate attacks at Austin, trying in vain to get their leader back.

"Get lost!" Austin snapped.

He lifted one hand,

and with a bang, an energy blast surged towards the creatures.

Once again, they were all thrown backwards.

"Brat, what do you want?"

Elder Sergei demanded, feeling suddenly afraid of this young man.

He had not expected this fearsome display of power. It was clear they had no chance of harming him,

let alone of defeating him.

He struggled to break free of the force carrying him towards Austin, but it was futile.

In a moment, he was floating in midair directly in front of Austin.

"Tell me the truth.

Where did the eight branches of pilgrims go?

My patience is wearing thin, so I advise you to stop wasting my time,"

Austin informed him sternly.

Elder Sergei shook his head.

Instantly, the elder's arms exploded.

Elder Sergei screamed.

Blood gushed out from his wounds.

"All right, I'll tell you everything you want to know!" he shouted in a panic.

He felt an overwhelming despair at the realization that this young man would torture and kill them all

unless they gave him what he wanted.
