The senior leaders of the Jade Sun Sect were still skeptical, but then again, Elder Ralph of the

Heavenly Law Sect did come with an olive branch.

This was enough to convince them that it was probably true!

"What?

What do you mean?

Does your Jade Sun Sect not wish to establish a friendship with our Heavenly Law Sect?"

Elder Ralph asked with a teasing smile, looking at the startled senior leaders of the Jade Sun Sect.

"Oh no! Of course we do!

Elder Ralph, please come in!

Prepare a banquet of the highest quality so we may entertain our guest properly!"

called out the head of the Jade Sun Sect after coming to his senses.

The senior leaders then respectfully invited Ralph into their headquarters for an in-depth discussion.

"Dad, I told you that the problem can be solved quite easily with my master's help,"

Donny said to his father through his spiritual sense.

"You were right.

It's truly a blessing for the Jade Sun Sect that you have such a master.

Now, because of him, the Heavenly Law Sect is paying so much attention to us.

If we are able to form a friendship with them, our sect will never have to worry about anything in this

space sea again!

We will enter a new era of explosive development!"

The head of the Jade Sun Sect was so excited he was starting to ramble on.

"That reminds me, Donny, you must seize this chance with both hands!

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

If he is willing to help you, you will rise to new heights and you may never stop improving!"

he exclaimed, almost jumping out of his skin with elation.

"You got it, dad!"

Donny replied, taking a deep breath and nodding with determination radiating off him.

In the Empyreal City,

Austin sat cross-legged in the secret room.

All of a sudden,

he received a message through his spiritual sense form Orson.

"I have discovered traces of Armstrong. I'm on his trail.

It turns out that he once accepted a disciple. His name was Yusuf.

Yusuf has already risen to a governing god.

I thought he would know Armstrong's whereabouts,

so I went and spoke with him.

But he refused to reveal where Armstrong was.

In fact, he almost started a fight over it."

Orson's message played in Austin's mind.

"Okay. Very good.

Take me to this Yusuf,"

Austin said flatly.

He and the chaotic sky-devouring beast then left the secret room

and found Orson already waiting outside.

The three of them left the Empyreal City, passing through one void after the other.

A moment later,

they came to a stop, hovering in the air above an enormous continent,

which was floating in the chaotic void.

"This whole place belongs to Yusuf,"

Orson revealed.

"Right now, he's cultivating in seclusion in that palace there,"

he added, pointing at a palace below.

"Okay, let's head straight there then,"

Austin said calmly.

They all descended and made for the palace.

At this moment,

inside the palace,

an old man with green hair could be found drinking alone.

He sipped on a high-grade divine wine that he had meticulously fermented. If a mortal who had not

practiced martial arts before got the privilege to drink it, their lives would be extended by hundreds of

years.

A frown took over his brow as he sat there drinking slowly.

He seemed to sense something.

"Humph! This Orson guy really does not know what's good for him.

If he did, he would not have come back!"

Anger flashed across the old man's face.

"Humph! He dares keep pressing for my master's whereabouts? How outrageous.

Well if he insists on challenging my master's authority again and again, I cannot be blamed for being a

little rude!"

cried out the green-haired old man, slamming his wineglass down.

This was Yusuf, Armstrong's disciple.

"Guards, show Orson in!"

Yusuf said after a moment of contemplation, sneering to himself.

This palace was all his territory and he had lined it with a vast arrangement of many brilliant arrays.

His plan was to lure Orson in before making his move, knowing he would then have the upper hand.

Orson was after all a governing god; his strength could not be underestimated.

A premium-grade divine god hurried out of the palace,

coming to a speedy halt in front of Orson.

"My master requests your presence before him,"

the premium-grade divine god said, bowing respectfully to Orson.

"Ha ha, it seems that Yusuf has some plans for you,"

Austin said with an amused chuckle.

"Well, are we still going to go in?"

Orson had recognized this as an oddity as well.

Yusuf had almost thrown blows at him last time he was here.

His current enthusiasm was indeed suspicious.

"Don't worry.

Let's just get inside,"

Austin said with an unfazed smile stretched across his face.

"Okay. Let's go!"

Orson said firmly, gritting his teeth.

He knew how strong his companions were and that gave him confidence in his safety.

Austin, Orson and the chaotic sky-devouring beast followed the premium-grade divine god into the

palace, until they were brought before the master of this lair.

They were greeted by a sneering Yusuf, showing not a speck of hospitality to them.

They were in his territory. As he saw it, their only option was to be slaughtered by him.

"Humph!

Orson, it is clear you have no respect for me.

Why have you brought these two juniors here with you?

When did I say you're allowed to bring people in?

Guards, get rid of these extras!"

Yusuf yelled, pointing towards Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast with disgust.

More than a dozen premium-grade genuine divine gods appeared and strode towards them.

Orson remained calm. He knew Yusuf was just trying to put him in a difficult position and intimidate

him.

"Ha-ha, my-my, how arrogant!"

The chaotic sky-devouring smiled with contempt.

Yusuf did not know who he was challenging.

A terrifying energy pressure was quietly released from the chaotic sky-devouring beast's body, flowing

out to crush the advancing premium-grade divine gods.

Immediately, several loud booms sounded and shook the entire palace.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The premium-grade divine gods were flung out, shooting into the depths of the void like cannonballs. In

an instant, they had all disappeared.

The chaotic sky-devouring beast was a legendary divine beast; he was a horrifying opponent just by his

nature.

"What happened?" Yusuf was blindsided and aghast.

He could feel that something wasn't quite right here.

It appeared there was more to this young man in front of him than it seemed. He may even be more

difficult to deal with than Orson.

"Humph!

Orson, no wonder you've been so brave to come back here. Looks like you've brought a bodyguard

with you!"

Yusuf snorted.

He stopped his complaints long enough to react.

He waved his hand and activated a formula.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The entire palace began shuddering violently.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Arrays began appearing one after the other all throughout the palace, enveloping Austin and his

companions.

"Ha-ha! You want to know where my master is, don't you?

I learned these arrays from him. Break them first and then we'll talk!

If you can't, you'll be stuck here forever!"

Yusuf screeched, cackling wildly.
