The Supreme God Chapter 4703 Repelling The Army Of The Sword Pavilion Sect

"Sir, why are you standing in our way?

Has the Sword Pavilion Sect done anything to offend you?"

the deputy chief asked.

It must have finally dawned on him that the owner of the sword-light in front of him was quite powerful.

He was likely to be someone the Sword Pavilion Sect couldn't afford to offend.

That caused a drastic change in his attitude.

"You better not mess with the Jade Sun Sect again if you know what's best for you.

Otherwise, you won't like the consequences!"

A cold voice came from the sword-light.

The words stunned the deputy chief.

"Sir, did the Jade Sun Sect ask you to come here?" he asked.

"What did the Jade Sun Sect promise you in exchange? We would be willing to pay you ten times that

amount!

All you'll have to do is not interfere in the matters between us and the Jade Sun Sect,"

the deputy chief continued.

"The Jade Sun Sect is not yet qualified to get me to do anything.

So it's useless to try to pay me off.

Remember my words, or you won't be pleased with what will happen,"

the sword-light said, again.

The deputy chief's face darkened.

Originally, he'd barged in with his army to annihilate the Jade Sun Sect, showing off how powerful the

Sword Pavilion Sect was. Unfortunately, they'd been intercepted by a sword-light.

"Do you really have to make things difficult for us?

I want to remind you that we have the Heavenly Law Sect backing us.

You know how powerful the Heavenly Law Sect is, don't you?"

the deputy chief said in a low voice, a tinge of a threat in his tone.

"Get lost!"

The sword-light sounded impatient now.

Then, something strange happened.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Sword radiance suddenly burst out of the sword-light, like a raging tide. It quickly swept over the army

of the Sword Pavilion Sect.

"Ahhh!"

Screams filled the air.

In an instant, every single member of the Sword Pavilion Sect army was seriously injured.

None of them, no matter who they were, could escape or even fight back.

Fortunately, the sword-light held back, so no one actually died.

The deputy chief was so frightened that his face turned deathly pale. He didn't dare stay any longer

with what had just happened.

"Retreat, all of you!" he shouted to his people.

The army fled in a sorry state, disappearing into the chaotic void.

"That sword-light is terrifying.

It caused some serious injuries!"

"Which powerful master released this sword-light? It's horrendous!"

"It might have been one of the three exceptional masters, Bambard, Avery, or Armstrong.

Who else could release such a powerful sword-light?"

Creatures that had gathered to watch the fight from a distance were all in shock.

At the same moment in the headquarters of the Jade Sun Sect, there was a stir.

"Good news!

Good news!"

A senior leader rushed to the headquarters and reported to the leader of the sect.

"Leader, a sword-light repelled the Sword Pavilion Sect's army!"

the senior leader exclaimed excitedly.

"That was very good indeed.

I saw it happen.

That was an extraordinarily powerful sword-light.

I can't believe that it defeated the Sword Pavilion Sect's army. All of them were unable to make a

move."

Excitement filled the space where the leader of the Jade Sun Sect and a group of seniors had

gathered.

Donny was also among them.

"Dad, I think it was my master who did it.

Only he would have such amazing swordsmanship,"

Donny said eagerly.

"My master's swordsmanship is beyond anything we've seen!

I must work hard to perfect the sword skills he taught me.

If only I could be as powerful as him one day."

Donny wondered if he could ever reach that level.

While that was happening, the Sword Pavilion Sect's army had fled to their headquarters.

Returning with their tails between their legs made them bristling with anger to hide their shame.

Their senior leaders were gathered in the hall.

Their faces looked glum.

They too were aware of what had just happened.

"Who was it?

It was merely a sword-light, yet it was extremely powerful. A powerful warrior had to have wielded it.

At the very least, it was someone none of us could compete with,"

the leader of the Sword Pavilion Sect said sullenly.

"Damn it! The Jade Sun Sect is a weak sect. When did they manage to win over such a powerful

warrior and make him support them?"

the deputy chief spat out, venom seeping through his tone.

Fear still lingered at the memory of the sword-light's power.

"Anyway, none of us can be a match to him.

All we can do now is to turn to the Heavenly Law Sect for help.

Its two leaders are governing gods.

Governing gods are the most powerful existences.

No matter how strong the warrior is, it will be impossible for him to defeat two governing gods.

As long as the Heavenly Law Sect comes to our aid, we have nothing to fear.

When that happens, we can go back and destroy the Jade Sun Sect.

We have suffered such a great loss because of the Jade Sun Sect. We must take revenge,"

the leader of the Sword Pavilion Sect said in a determined voice.

"That's right.

We have no choice but to turn to the Heavenly Law Sect for help.

With it on our side, we can advance in confidence."

The other senior leaders of the Sword Pavilion Sect nodded in agreement.

"I'll go to the Heavenly Law Sect myself."

The leader of the sect stood up and walked out of the hall. Soaring into the sky, he made his way to the

Heavenly Law Sect.

Elsewhere, things had settled in the Empyreal City.

"It's an inconsequential sect.

It wouldn't require much effort for me to destroy it.

Just a strike with my palm and it will be gone.

So what's the point of wasting time on it?"

the chaotic sky-devouring beast curled his lips and said.

"Destroying the Sword Pavilion Sect is easy.

However, we should consider the repercussions of our actions. A cultivator of our level can easily

destroy an entire world.

I don't think destroying them is necessary.

Just like how easy it is for a divine dragon in the sky to kill a group of ants on the ground.

But have you ever seen a divine dragon in the sky fight with ants on the ground and kill them on a

whim?"

Austin said with a smile.

"All right.

I'll leave it to you, then.

As long as you are pleased, I won't object,"

the chaotic sky-devouring beast shook his head and said.

He was a legendary beast, born with a high position. For him, the lives of those weaker than him held

no importance.

Austin was different. He'd worked hard from a lower level and climbed up to reach where he was now.

He knew firsthand how difficult it was for the weak to survive and their struggles. So when he reached a

certain point of strength, he didn't want to fight the weak and kill them mercilessly without a good

reason.

It was difficult for the chaotic sky-devouring beast to comprehend this.

"I don't know if Orson has found Avery and Armstrong,"

Austin murmured to himself.

To check, he sent out a message to Orson through his spiritual sense.

"I found some clues.

But I will still need some time to verify them.

After all, they haven't shown up in this space sea for a long time,"

Orson replied.

"All right,"

Austin agreed.
