He actually doesn’t know Yancy?
Sasha was astonished as she looked at him. “She’s Solomon’s mom. Didn’t you see her at the press
conference?”
“Are you talking about the stepmother?”
“No, she’s not the stepmother. She’s his biological mother!” Sasha looked really serious when she
explained it.
Meanwhile, Sebastian was dumbfounded after hearing that.
She’s actually his biological mother? How could that be? Didn’t Solomon’s mother pass away a long
time ago?
That said, it was true that Sebastian did not know about it. He merely felt curious when he heard about
Yamada’s wife from Roxanne.
He was too busy after finding out about Frieda for him to care about anything else. On top of that, he
had to deal with the fake Sasha.
Thus, he had no idea about Yancy.
“Back then, Yancy asked someone to send Solomon to my house when he was eight and asked my
mother to raise him before she faked her death. She always held a grudge after giving birth to him. God
knows how she appeared in Jetroina and seduced Yamada. Now, she’s his wife,” Sasha explained
after she saw how astonished Sebastian was.
Nonetheless, Sasha emphasized the seducing part when talking about Yancy being Yamada’s wife to
show her detest for Yancy.
Truth be told, Yancy indeed had an awful personality.
With that, Sebastian finally felt enlightened from the unanswered question he had in his mind all this
while.
“So that’s how it is. I was wondering why Yamada would leave the family business to an adopted son.”
“Yeah, it was all Yancy’s idea. After all, Yamada simply adores her. He even built a whole garden of
peonies in Lostaria just for her. I was thoroughly shocked when I saw it.”
Right then, Sasha unknowingly exposed her visit to Lostaria.
And as soon as she finished speaking, Sebastian’s arms immediately tightened around her.
“Lostaria? Weren’t you held captive in Kenfort? How did you end up at Lostaria? They told me you
were released. What happened? Did they lock you back up in Lostaria after that?”
Within seconds, Sebastian’s gaze grew sharper while exuding a cold and menacing aura.
Upon that, Sasha panicked.
Sh*t! Why did I just say that?
“I…” She looked away and tried to come up with an excuse. “I have no idea. They were the ones who
transferred me there.”
“Say that again!”
Sebastian’s bloodshot eyes widened when he said those words. The man was even gritting his teeth as
though he was ready to devour her.
On the other hand, Sasha was rendered speechless and eventually gave in under the pressure of
Sebastian’s murderous gaze.
“Alright. I-I will tell you the truth. I was actually released back then, but I was curious about the woman
behind it all and wanted to see who she is…
“So, I secretly visited Lostaria on my own.”
For the entire time, she kept her head buried in Sebastian’s embrace, afraid to even take a peek at the
man.
She was too afraid, and she was right to be.
When she finished, Sebastian was breathing so heavily that it sounded like he was going to drag
Sasha outside to beat her up.
Sasha flinched and held Sebastian even closer. She was even more afraid to move at that point.
However, she waited in fear for a long time, but Sebastian did nothing. He merely stared at her for a
long while before he let out a long sigh and tightened his embrace even more.
“Sasha, I really feel like strangling you sometimes, y’know?”
Despite that, Sasha remained silent.
“You’re always like this. You make decisions on your own and disregard the people around you. Have
you ever thought about what we feel?” Sebastian did his best to calm himself down and started talking
to her.
As a matter of fact, he needed to have a word with her regarding that incident.
I know you did all these for me, but do you know how I would feel when you put yourself in danger?
Worried, afraid, or even anxious—none of these could fully express what I felt.
There was only one way to describe what he felt—it was a tour through hell.
“Sasha, you need to remember this. Nothing is more important than your own life. Think about it. Would
you want to see me risking my life for something?”
“Of course not.”
Sasha answered without a moment’s hesitation.
At that, Sebastian nodded in satisfaction. “So, you should do the same then. Remember to come to me
before making any decisions and prioritize your safety above all else.”
