Despite how much she hated Yancy, Sasha did not want Sebastian to be blinded by hatred.
If she let Sebastian get carried away by his emotions, it would eat him up like a serpent from within.
It would be very hard for her to save him from the pit by then.
“Karl, could you send me to the hotel first? I’ll go back after Sebastian arrives. Is that okay?” Sasha
kept repeating herself until she fell into slumber again.
By the time Sebastian arrived at the airport in his private jet, it was already three o’clock in the
afternoon.
Sasha was sleeping soundly on the bed when he reached the hotel.
“Has the doctor seen her?”
“Yeah. The doctor said she’s just too weak. She was drugged and she had not been eating because
she did not want to give in to that evil witch. Oh, the doctor also said that… um… there are signs of
self-harm.”
Karl’s voice trailed off toward the end because he knew Sebastian would get angry. He was also
disturbed because he felt sorry for Sasha.
Rage settled in Sebastian’s bloodshot eyes. He rushed over to the bed and lifted the blanket to check
Sasha’s wrist.
True enough, there was a scar of a deep wound. It was obvious that Sasha really wanted to end her
life. Sebastian lost control and punched his fist against the wall in full force.
“Mr. Hayes!” Karl exclaimed.
“I want Sinch Enterprise gone within a month. I want them destroyed! Wipe it out completely!”
He gave the order word by word through gritted teeth.
Karl’s eyes widened in astonishment.
Wipe out Sinch Enterprise in one month?
Is this even possible? Sinch Enterprise was no small company. It was one of the leading businesses in
Astoria. It came next after Hayes Corporation.
Acquiring a company like this would be a rather challenging feat, but Karl quickly agreed.
He almost forgot that Sebastian himself was no small fry in the business world, so Karl set out to carry
out his new order.
It was not until nine o’clock at night that Sasha woke up. She slowly opened her eyes when she felt a
comfortable and familiar presence beside her.
“Are you awake?”
When Sebastian realized she was awake, he circled his arms around her and lifted her, then placed her
in his embrace.
What is going on?
Sasha looked up in confusion.
She blinked her eyes hard, trying to make sense of what was happening.
“Sebby… is that you?”
Her cheeks turned red when she realized it was Sebastian. She shifted her gaze and snuggled in his
arms.
What is he doing?
Can’t he just give me a break.
She was a little shy as she looked elsewhere.
Sebastian smiled looking at her. He had finally got her back by his side.
This was the person he had been waiting for.
Although they had been married for years and had three children together, Sasha would still be shy
whenever he touched her.
He loved it every time she called him Sebby.
Sebastian hugged her and planted a kiss on her forehead carefully so he did not hurt her.
“I’m sorry I failed to protect you.”
“What are you sorry for? This has nothing to do with you. It’s my fault actually. I shouldn’t have kept
those things.”
Sasha lowered her head as she was feeling guilty.
What a silly girl!
It pained him to see her like this. He knew she did everything because of him, but she always
shouldered the blame.
Sebastian did not want to talk about it anymore. He almost lost her again and he just wanted to stay by
her side now. He just wanted to hold her in his arms and talk to her.
He would readily trade the whole world to stay this way forever.
“Oh, how is Sabrina? I haven’t heard anything about her after we got caught. I heard Yancy saying that
she left her on the boat.”
Sasha suddenly remembered Sabrina.
Sebastian patted her back and assured her. “She’s fine. Who’s this Yancy you’re talking about by the
way?”
“Don’t you know her? She’s Solomon’s mother. Didn’t you see her at the press conference?”
Sasha looked up in surprise.
