Returning from the Dead: His Secret Lover
The bloodline must mean the descendants of the Limmer family.
Sebastian stayed over in the Aquene Temple that night. “Darling, when are you coming home?”
He lay exhaustedly on the bed. Upon hearing the sound of running water, he looked towards Sasha
and popped the question.
Sasha was cleaning the towel when that question was asked. She curled her fingers in frustration.
She wished she could go back home too.
However, it was not the right time.
She twisted the towel dry and brought him a bowl of soup. “I still want to stay here for a while. Aren’t
you always out? If you’re not around at home, it’s pointless for me to come back. It’s better if I stay here
to conduct some research on that old b*stard.”
She ended up acting coquettishly to avoid going back.
Apparently, it worked like magic on Sebastian. Gazing at her wife, he abruptly held out his hands in an
attempt to embrace her.
“Ahhh!” Sasha avoided him right away. “What are you doing? I’m holding a bowl of soup!”
“Hey…” Sebastian helped her put away the bowl of soup.
“I only want you now. It’s been four months…” He mischievously looked at her while his hands inched
closer to her body.
Indeed, it was a very long time. Ever since she was pregnant, they had not been intimate. Even when
they slept together, sex was off-limits.
Sebastian felt an irresistible urge to tear off her clothes and get on top of her.
However, overwhelming dizziness struck him out of the blue and his strength seeped away.
“Are you okay?” Sasha worriedly asked.
“I’m alright.” Sebastian shook his head and shrugged off the feeling.
After regaining his senses, he looked at Sasha again.
Perhaps he was simply too exhausted.
He thought to himself.
However, when he tried to embrace her again, he lost the energy and strength to sustain the
enthusiasm.
Is it because of my recent visit to the Nuclear Submarine?
Will it affect the child?
The alarming thoughts flashed by his mind.
“Sebby?” Sasha asked again.
“Don’t worry about it. I think I’m just too tired. Let’s rest.” He lay back down after consoling her.
Sasha heaved a sigh of relief.
After having the bowl of soup, the couple lay down on the bed together.
Shortly after, Sebastian fell into a deep sleep. After realizing that, Sasha opened her eyes and stared at
the dark.
She then slowly hugged him from the side.
“I’m sorry, Sebby,” she whispered in his ears.
Her fingers started massaging his neck.
“Mmhmm…” Sebastian who was deep asleep let out a soft grunt at the disturbance.
Sasha pressed her face against him and reduced the force of her delicate fingers.
She massaged him in a gentle manner. “Darling, don’t worry about it. Everything will become better.”
The next day.
Sebastian and Devin left early in the morning.
Sabrina anxiously rushed towards Sasha to check on her. After knowing that she was not noticed by
anyone, Sabrina felt relieved.
She muttered, “Not sure what we can find in the Golden Heights.”
Sasha frowned at the thought.
However, as she stared at the fleeting car from the top of the mountain, Sasha was surprisingly calm.
The boulder of stress that previously consumed them felt lifted.
She finally found a glimmer of hope.
Two hours later, at the Golden Heights.
Sebastian stepped into the old structure with Devin following closely behind.
They were extremely cautious, knowing that Eddie was a cunning and ruthless person and god knows
if he had set up any traps there.
Devin remarked, “There’s nothing here. What does Uncle Shin mean by the bloodline of the Limmer
family?”
As they couldn’t find anything, Devin started to feel irritated.
They dropped everything in the Naval Force and came all the way here. If it turned out to be a futile
exercise, that would be devastating.
It must be borne in mind that the matters in the Naval Force require undivided attention.
“It should mean the descendants of the Limmer family. Just focus on the search of their family records,”
replied Sebastian calmly.
Family records?
Devin was stunned.
At this moment, Devin came to a sudden realization that the family records were indeed missing from
their sight.
Hence, he started looking again.
