Throw Tantrum Unexpectedly

Instead of mourning endlessly for her death, Shin chose to chant for her earnestly in the temple every

day. He believed that was the best he could do for her soul to rest in peace. If there was reincarnation,

he wished she could embark on a peaceful journey in her next life. He hoped the best for Sasha’s poor

baby as well.

It was already three days later when Sasha managed to get down from the bed again. Accompanied by

Sabrina, she crouched down in front of the small mound under the maple tree and buried the cracked

bloodstone in front of it.

“What is this?” Sabrina asked curiously.

Sasha smiled sorrowfully as she replied, “It’s from my Aunt Sharon. According to her, it had been

shielding my mom and my uncle from risks all this while. Now, I give it to my child.”

Sabrina was rendered speechless as a wave of complex emotions crept into her heart. As a mother,

she knew at once what Sasha meant. She was doing her best, blessing her deceased child’s soul.

Three days later, they received news from the Oceanic Estate. It seemed both Sebastian and Devin

had frequented the Naval Force lately. Even though Sabrina was clueless about that, her gut instinct

told her that there was something awry.

On the other hand, Grayson seemed to have a clearer insight into the whole matter.

While having a check-up for Sasha, he commented analytically, “Don’t you think that the despicable

Eddie Limmer is manipulating to strike against the warships in the Naval Force? If that is the case, the

whole military base will be in a precarious state. Not only that, the military force of other countries might

take advantage of the situation and attack us at any time!”

Grayson’s point of view actually made sense. After all, he had been in a military force before and still

had certain knowledge about the military base.

In an instant, Sabrina’s face turned ashen.

Sasha felt a prickle of anxiousness as something came into her mind. “Does that mean he will be

striking back at any time?”

“Yeah, I guess so. Since he was badly defeated previously, and Old Mr. Jadeson is back in action, I bet

he won’t dare to have any ploy on the Land Force. I foresee he is targeting the Air Force and the Naval

Force instead.” Grayson continued to voice up his point of view.

“But then he doesn’t have anyone in the Air Force, does he?” Sasha responded doubtfully.

“Yeah, when Carlos dragged down Desmond Croll, the Minister of the Naval Force previously, he was

actually thinking of having the whole Naval Force under his control. In other words, Eddie Limmer’s

men had wormed their way into the Naval Force long ago.” Grayson was seemingly confident with his

point of view.

He cast the young woman in front of him an admiring glance. Sasha certainly has a clear mind.

Apparently, Sebastian has an eye for her intelligence!

Grayson’s words sent a chill down Sabrina’s spine. She did not have any clue about the military forces

and political issues. Even so, she knew that the hideous man and his team would surely bring disasters

to the nation once they infiltrated the national military force.

Infiltration of the national military force! How is it possible for both of them to stop all these by

themselves? Sabrina shuddered at the thought.

After Grayson left, she could not hold back any longer and whined, “Damn it! That old man is

apparently getting crazier. What are we supposed to do now? If the whole Naval Force is under his

control, it will definitely drive the wedge among the different forces and cause civil war!”

Sasha shook her head and appeased Sabrina by uttering placidly, “Don’t worry. Both Sebastian and

Devin won’t let that happen. Don’t you see how they seem to be frequenting the Naval Force? This

implies that they have countermeasure in their minds.”

“Hmm, you seem to have a point.” Sasha’s words tended to tamp down her anxiety temporarily.

Apart from that, they decided not to distract the two men fighting against their foes.

Since then, both women in the temple were extra careful whenever they updated the Oceanic Estate

on their latest condition. They kept the tragic loss of Sasha’s baby under wraps.

Another two weeks later, Sasha was gradually recuperating. Thus, she decided to research nuclear

radiation in her previous exposure.

Assisted by Grayson, Sasha’s temporary room in the temple was well-equipped with advanced medical

devices. One day, she took pictures of her own sectioned cells and sent them to Xayden, a genius in

chemistry. “Xayden, this is my sectioned cells. Can you help to have a look?”

In the meantime, Xayden was scrutinizing the shattered pieces of the explosive. The moment he

caught a glimpse of the picture for Sasha’s sectioned cells, there was an instant flicker of fury on his

face. “Good gracious! Whoever created it is freaking crazy!”

Sasha was startled by his sudden change of tone.

“Ah! M-Mrs. Hayes, I’m sorry for overreacting. I don’t mean it.” Seconds later, Xayden came to himself

and back to his usual gentle self again.

Strangely, there were unknown figures all over the notebook next to him. Nonetheless, it seemed he

was not solely analyzing the explosive.

Apparently, he had listed all the substances of the explosive one by one and restructured them instead.

On top of that, he had added other chemical symbols to his note. At that very moment, he looked like a

weirdo in the sci-fi movies.

At the same time, Matteo was peeping through the slit of the door and broke out in cold sweat.

“What is he researching now? Is he planning to turn the tables on anyone again?” he gasped.

“Could it be megalodon?” Ian asked casually from behind him.

It was natural for him to draw speculation based on the incident two days ago. Vivian was craving

lobsters on that day. When trying to catch lobsters from the sea, she was hurt by one of their pincers.
