Chapter 380 - Looking at her lips, Wen Rugui felt like he was spellbound. (2)

Fang Wanyuan was going to walk up to her but, after he witnessed the scene, his legs felt like they weighted a ton and he was unable to move them.

Looking at Tong Xuelu and Wen Rugui who walked further and further away from him, his felt like someone had pinched his heart.

There was an indescribable pain.

Tong Xuelu and Wen Rugui came to where they have parked and Tong Xuelu climbed onto the back seat. Wen Rugui, however, did not start the bicycle for a long time.

Tong Xuelu couldn't help but felt odd. “What is it?”

Wen Rugui’s throat moved and she heard a low and clear voice coming from in front of her. “There’s nobody around right now.”

Tong Xuelu raised her brows.

Oh boy. The big cutie who blushed at just about anything and everything wanted to be a bad boy?

She, however, pretended that she didn’t get his hint. “And?”

Wen Rugui’s face started to burn again. His hands that were resting on the handlebar were sweating. “It’s windy and dark at night. Why don’t you hu…. Hold onto my clothes. We don’t want you to fall.”

He had wanted to ask her to put her arms around his waist but he finally stopped himself the last minute.

He was becoming more shameless. He wanted to be a hooligan out in public!

Tong Xuelu almost busted out laughing. She put on an innocent though. “But if you hit a ditch, I’m not sure holding onto your clothes would help. Perhaps should wrap my arm around your waist? The only thing I wasn’t sure about is whether that would bother you.”

Wen Rugui didn’t even have to think about that. “That will be fine. It won’t bother me.”

He sounded so eager that Tong Xuelu’s stomach hurt from holding back her laughter.

She wrapped her arm around his waist and took the opportunity to cop a feel.

Hmm, his waist was skinny but strong.

That’s a waist of a nice male dog.

With her grope, Wen Rugui felt a current ran though him and he froze.

Tong Xuelu cocked her head. “What are we still waiting for?”

Wen Rugui recollected himself, his face burning, “We are heading out now.”

The next second, he kicked with his foot and the bicycle lunged forward.

The wind was strong at night and Wen Rugui did not have a very thick coat on. Not wanting him to be cold, Tong Xuelu held onto Wen Rugui tightly.

What she didn’t know was that he was not cold at all.

He was hot all over. In fact, his palms were sweaty.

Sun Manrou pretended that she had fainted the entire time that she was carried off stage. Seeing that she was very pale, the others called for a military doctor.

Sun Manrou worried that she would embarrass herself all over again and quickly pretended that she had regained her consciousness.

When the others saw her waking up, they immediately surrounded her and started asking questions.

“How are you feeling, Comrade Sun? Are you hurting anywhere?”

“I think she is fine anywhere else other than on her bottom. I’ve counted it earlier, she landed on her bottom a total of nine times!”

“Nine times! Oh my! Would you like us to fetch a female military doctor to check on your bottom, Comrade Sun?”

The talk about her bottom gave her difficulty breathing. She almost passed out for real.

“Thank you, everyone. I am fine. Oh right, where’s my Third Brother? Can you fetch him to take me home please?”

True was, her bottom was really smarting. She hit against the edge of the steps quite a few times.

Nevertheless, that was not the kind of pain that she would just tell any more nor did she want to have a military doctor check her out.

That would be even more embarrassing!

As she insisted that she was fine, the others went to fetch Sun Wuyang for her.

Sun Wuyang came over, his face red. And he helped Sun Manrou, whose cheeks was equally red, home.

When they got to a part with nobody around them, he couldn't help but complained to her. “What happened back there? How did you just fall like that?”

Sun Manrou started to sob. “I have no idea what happened. I slipped and lost my balance……”

She had checked her props ahead of time and for certainly nobody would have messed with it. Nor would anyone have the guts to do that in front of so many leaders.

All in all, she would have to chalk it up to being too unlucky. She had wanted to stun all the audiences but she ended up being the biggest joke.
