Chapter 1732Chapter 1732
Then they heard the sound of footsteps coming up soon after. Dominic opened the door just as Lily
reached. Seeing that he had the door opened, she raised her eyebrows, unmoved. "Have you started?"
"I was waiting for you!"
“What if I didn't show up?"
"Then, I'd do it myself!"
"How many years has it been since you last did this? Aren't you afraid you might miss the points?"
"Then, I'll just poke another time. There's not much difference if I put in a few more needles."
As the two talked, Austin broke into a cold sweat.
‘What do they mean that having two extra needles in my body is okay? Also, what did Uncle Dom
mean by waiting for Lily to show up? Could it be...’
“Wait a minute!" Austin leaned up and looked at the two chatting by the door. "Who's going to do the
acupuncture on me? Is it..."
Lily glanced at him, then at Dominic. "You didn't tell him?"
"Tell him what?" The older man fluttered his eyes innocently. "
He's the patient. Does he have the right to choose a doctor?"
Austin was bewildered to hear this. ‘Why not?!'Although his body was still bounded and he had no strength, he still gritted his teeth and tried his best
to prop up his body. He looked at the two and said, "Uncle Dom, when it comes to acupuncture, I think
you should be the one doing it. I don't trust anyone else except you."
After all that he had been through, he no longer had his prejudice against Lily's medical skills as before.
He believed she was capable and genuine. However, acupuncture was a different story.
Back in the day, he had always been amazed by Dominic's acupuncture skills. Austin had secretly
memorized the acupoint maps of the human body, but Dominic had never taught him anything.
Dominic said that acupuncture was more complex than it looked.
The location of acupoints, the strength of each puncture hole, and various other things had to be exact.
On top of that, acupuncture required practice, and there were not enough patients for Austin to practice
on. Therefore, he did not believe in Lily’s acupuncture prowess.
“Oh, don't you worry about her," Dominic said nonchalantly.
novelbin"Then..."
"Lily has been learning acupuncture from me for some time now, but she never had the opportunity to
practice. We shouldn't let such a good opportunity go to waste." With that said, Dominic handed the
silver needles to Lily.
Austin's eyes widened. ‘Did I hear that right?! I-Is she using me as atest subject?!’
After taking the silver needle, Lily walked toward him and smiled harmlessly. Don't worry. Although this
is my first time, I'll try to get it right. It might hurt a little, so bear with me for a while. As a man, this
should be nothing to you."Austin was shocked. He wanted to escape, but the bounds around him and his lack of strength
prevented him from doing so. He fixed his eyes on the needles in Lily's hand as he exclaimed, "D-Don't
joke around like that!"
"Who's going to do the acupuncture on me? Is it..."
Then he turned to look at Dominic and yelled, "Uncle Dom, I am your grandnephew! You have to take
my life seriously! How can you treat me as a test subject?! I-I-I.."
