Lily did not know who was on the other line, but George kept looking at her when he was on the phone,
“All right, I’ll ask her about it.”
Lily had a feeling that it was about something concerning her.
“I think you might be right about this,” George looked and her and said finally. Since he knew about her
background, he could not force his ideals onto her even if he wanted to. Most importantly, the phone
call he had just received changed his mind. Maybe they could also focus on custom–made perfumes.
“What?” Lily was confused.
“Do you know who just called?” George clasped his hands and continued, “I don’t know if you’ve heard
of the name of the actress who had previously won the Best Actress award, Eloise Neville. She was a
superstar before getting married into the Tanner family.”
Lily was surprised before admitting, “Yes, I’ve heard of her.”
Not only had she heard of Eloise, Lily even knew about her relationship with Nathaniel, but… why was
she calling them?
“Yes, she wanted to request a custom–made perfume from you and that she wants to meet you
personally. How does tonight sound?” George asked.
Lily was silent for a moment before answering, “I don’t think I’m able to accept her request. She should
look for another perfumer.”
George thought she would willingly accept this proposal, so he was beyond surprised when she
rejected it, “Why? You just said you’d prefer to accept custom–made requests instead of mass–
production orders. I’ve respected your opinion and agreed to it. Now you’re telling me you don’t want to
accept this proposal when it’s from someone so famous and holds such a high social status. If you
succeed in creating a perfume for her, your position in the perfume industry will also be secured. I don’t
see why you’d reject this opportunity.

dislikes. However, you’re still working for our company, so please think about the company’s future and

When Lily left the building that evening at 6 p.m., a car was already waiting in front of the lobby. The

This was a face Lily had seen numerous times on the TV. More importantly, she had read about. her in
the information Justin gave her, so she could recognize her immediately. This was Eloise Neville. Lily
was surprised that she would come to her company personally to meet her. Even if Lily wanted to
change her mind now, it was doubtful that she could just run away from Eloise.
