Pete didn’t dare to speak, so he just knelt on the ground and waited.
Only after Tiger had dealt with all his work did he glance at him. “Mr. Larson asked you to come here?”
“Mr. Matthew mentioned that I should come and learn from Master Tiger,” Pete quickly replied. “If I make
any mistakes in the future, please instruct me!”
Tiger nodded. Since this was Matthew’s orders, he wouldn’t make things difficult for Pete.
“Alright, get up,” Tiger said. “Since we’ll be working together in the future, I will forget about petty
grievances. If there is anything you can’t deal with in the future, just give me a call.”
Pete was overjoyed. With Tiger’s words, not only was his problem resolved, but he also gained Tiger’s
support, which was the key thing.
Tiger said that if there was anything he couldn’t deal with, he could contact him. To put it simply, it meant
that if he faced any problem outside in the future, he could use Tiger’s name to get things done.
In a word, this incident was a blessing in disguise for Pete.
Of course, he was even more thankful toward Matthew and Sasha now.

“Thank you, Master Tiger! Thank you!” Pete thanked him repeatedly and bowed as he backed out from
Tiger’s office.
When he got out, Pete felt refreshed. All of his worries and fears disappeared.
As he drove out of the construction site and reached the entrance, a BMW Series 7 drove over.
Pete took a glance and his gaze turned fierce immediately.
The one driving the BMW was Liam. Ever since Liam became the general manager of the construction
company, he had been driving the BMW Series 7.
He had long forgotten that this BMW was something that James had promised to give to Matthew.
Liam drove this BMW Series 7 every day to show off to his friends, and he kept boasting about his
business that was worth billions of dollars.
During this period of time, Liam had a lot of people gathered around him.
Those who used to be better than him also started to flatter him.

Pete stepped on the accelerator and stopped in front of Liam’s car, blocking him.

Liam didn’t know what had happened at the company.
Pete’s face was dark and when he reached Liam, he opened the car door roughly. Then, he grabbed
Liam by his collar and pulled him out of the car.
“Pete, what are you doing?” Liam exclaimed in shock.
But Pete didn’t reply to him. He punched Liam directly in the face and kicked him in the stomach.
Getting kicked to the ground, Liam was furious. “Have you gone crazy? I’m Liam Hayes! How dare you
hit me? Do you know how much the business I’m in charge of is worth? Billions! If I want you dead, it’d
be as easy as crushing an ant. You f*cking—”
Pete didn’t wait for him to finish talking and kicked him in the mouth.
Liam’s nose and mouth started bleeding instantly, and his words were kicked back into his throat too.
Liam pointed at Pete while muffled cries escaped his mouth. He looked a mess.
Pete then picked up a brick from the floor and pointed it at Liam. “On your knees!” Pete yelled angrily.
