Demi and Liam were completely dumbfounded. Obviously, since the very beginning, President White had
been lying to them! Everything was false, from the ‘untraceable’ drug to giving them money and the
company to everyone cooperating well together. In fact, President White was really a sinister and crafty
hypocrite! Now, the two were regretting it very much; if they did not cooperate with President White nor
deal with Matthew, they would not have ended up in this situation. Although they had always hated
Matthew, they could at least get a lot of things from him. Now, not only did they not get anything, but they

In the meantime, President White personally visited Matthew’s house. James and Helen were sitting at

President White smiled and replied, “Mr. Cunningham, you are too polite. We are in-laws, so from now
on, don’t call me President White. You can just address me as Mr. White.”
James was flattered and said, “Yes, yes. We are all in-laws. We are all family! Mr. White, we’ve heard
about Sam. We’re really sorry. T-That beast Matthew, we really can’t do anything to him.”
However, President White benevolently waved his hand. “It’s okay. I understand. I came this time to
inform you that I’ve bought the house next door to mine, and I’m ready to give it to you guys.”
At that, James and Helen almost screamed aloud. The two excitedly said, “P-President White, you
bought it so soon?”
President White immediately said, “Hey, you’re still calling me President White?”

Laughing, President White answered, “It’s okay. I’ve already said that we’re a family, so we should live
closer together. You have raised Sasha so well, and it’s fortunate that my son can marry her. We’re the
ones who have benefited more. Therefore, don’t mention it when it comes to money. We are a family, so
money is nothing, right?”
The two were so happy that they were on the verge of tears as they began praising President White.
After President White smilingly chatted for a few minutes, he finally said, “Oh, yes. I want to invite you
guys over to see the house, and you have to make your own decisions about the renovation. After all,
you guys will be living in that house, and personal preferences are different! How about this? In the
evening, I’ll invite a few old friends, all of whom are dignified people in Eastcliff. When the time comes, I’ll
introduce you guys to them, and we’ll have a casual dinner together and then look at the house. How
about it?”
Hearing this, James and Helen nodded. “Mr. White, whatever you say! We’ll do as you wish!”
President White laughed. “That’s great. I was worried you guys wouldn’t have time. In that case, let’s
meet in the evening. By the way, when the time comes, bring Sasha there too.”
At that, James and Helen were a little awkward. James whispered, “President White, Sasha is a little
queasy about Sam right now. I-If we bring her over tonight, I’m afraid…”
